I remember Bush 2 threatening Hussain because Hussain threatened to kill Bush 2's Daddy. Inspector Scott Ritter said there were no WMDs. Iraq was a personal vendetta. Probably one of the biggest blunders carried out by a superpower ever, and we're still at it.

The REAL REASON WHY NULAND and BLINKEN are obsessed with Ukraine. Until recently (more specifically since social media), populations simply believed whatever the media published. And after ww2, the media extensively pushed an anti soviet rhetoric. This is not a defense of Marxism or related philosophies, but merely highlighting the geopolitical conflict between Capitalism and Marxism. As we learned from congressional hearings in the 1970s related to operation mockingbird, the CIA operation mockingbird hijacked the American media. And the CIA had found a common enemy in the Karaites, the forefather of the judaïque reform movement aka cultural secular Judaism . Stalin had expelled the Karaites from the crimean peninsula (Source: TabletMag) to Kazakhstan. Although stalin was a Georgian, the Karaites never forgave the Russians. This hatred has continued and has been taught in reform synagogues. Even American Jewish philanthropists like Julius Rosenwald envisioned Crimea as a possible jewish homeland prior to the establishment of the jewish state partly because its the birthplace of the secular non torah Karaites. Ive had long discussions about this with my Jewish Kazakh father-in law. This secular community thinks they were specifically targeted despite being a minority of those being banished to Kazakhstan. What they seem to not realize the Catholics were sent in greater numbers, especially the catholic Armenians. I needed to put the historical context prior to getting to where the Russia-phobia in America comes from. After the establishment of Israel, the 3 letter agencies saw an opportunity to leverage this community as agents of ‘American imperialism’. In exchange for America guaranteeing the security of their homeland, these communities that were scattered across Europe, Caucuses and Central Asia would become agents of US interests. The 3 letter agencies would fund the political careers and the CIA/US military would ensure Israel security. Meanwhile, through operation mockingbird, these newly recruited agents who also worked extensively in the media would push anti-soviet rhetoric in the US media. You can see this Russia-phobia expressed through Nuland and Blinkens obsession with Crimea. Its as if they have an aspiration to regain control of the birthplace of Karaites. Even many synagogues in my neighborhood have either Ukraina or Sevastopol in their names.

If Beijing is sincere about peaceful reunification with Taiwan, then daily and reckless military provocation across the Taiwan Strait is NOT a good idea. Taiwan is a part of China and Taiwanese people are Chinese. But the reputation of the Chinese Communist Party among the Taiwanese people is very poor. Surveys show that less than 2% of the population supports peaceful reunification with the mainland.

I agree ! The U.S. of A. are the bully of the world since decades wanting to impose their rules to every other kid in the playground & telling to everyone who may play with who & with what toy .. Each period in history got its world-powers & empires : the Persians, the Mesopotamians, the Egyptians, the Greek Empire, the Roman Empire, Spain & Portugal were ruling the world in the 15th & 16th centuries, the Ottoman Empire, the British Empire, & since W.W.II the U.S. of A. were the most powerful country, but it is coming to an end, & it is difficult to admit you are not nr.1 anymore .. but it is also pathetic to want to hold on to that power by all (desperate) means, accumulating a preposterous national debt & destroying everything around you & taking down as many countries with you as possible .. it's (NOT) like in sports : you are the world champion, and then you ain't anymore .. but in geopolitics leaders are not playing for a gold medal by proving their strength & abilities, but "playing" with weapons, human lives, infrastructure, destruction, killing, .. They are "fools of war" !

They have committed all crimes, and all of them are against international law! But the problem is that they control the US, the International Court of Justice, the UN and the SC... As a global hegemon. So that they and their followers were neo-Nazis, terrorists... They will never judge, because that way they would indirectly condemn themselves. We could see that in the wars surrounding the breakup of Yugoslavia, and now in Ukraine, as well as in the wars in the Middle East... In which the US actively participates, of course choosing its servants to be the proxy army of the US and NATO, while from a safe distance from the sea and from the air, the US and NATO bomb the side in the conflict that has an obstacle in achieving hegemony, or rather that does not want to be a servant of the US. Those who want to be servants of the US, even though they are mostly neo-Nazis, take care of Croatia and Ukraine, and Bosnian Muslims, or terrorists in the case of KLA Albanians from the south of Serbia. But it must be said that it is a smart policy of the US, in selecting those who, especially during the time of Nazi Germany and Hitler, were the main support and servants of Nazi Germany. And that is the right of Croats, Muslims from Bosnia, Ukrainians, Albanians... As neo-Nazis, and faithful servants of every occupier even before Hitler and Nazi Germany. As long as the American hegemony is in force, neither they nor their loyal puppets and servants will be held accountable for anything, for any crime, because the Americans will declare their terrorists, puppets and servants as "fighters for justice, democracy and freedom in the world"?! And promote those monsters in their media and stanize the other side against which the Americans or their proxy puppets are at war... By the way, the US controls all the mainstream media in North America in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, a good part of Asia, and all of Europe in the countries NATO and the EU... And that's exactly what the people from the video above are talking about.

Putin waited 8 years and that was probably a mistake. Everyone feels obligated to condemn his invasion of Ukraine, but he had no choice. Nato would be in Ukraine by now if he hadn't and once that happens you are stuck with their presence. Putin did the right thing. @fred6319, I diagree strognly with you. After Russia had occupied Crimea in early 2014 the Russians managed to agitate a big part of the people in Donetsk and Lunhans to start an armed rebellion against the legal governent in Kiev. The Ukrainian governement sant the it's army to these two provinces and it would have crushed the rebels, but the the regular Russian army came to the rescue of them. The Russian army had at that time a clear technical and military educational advantage over the Ukrainian army. So then the Russians had a realtively easy job in the Eastern Ukraine as they also had had a bit earlier earlier in the occupying of Crimea. These two easy military operations probably let Putin and his advisors to believe, that the occupying of whole Ukraine might be a relatively easy and quick operation, but it wasn't to be so in February 2022. Also the Western negative reaction was stronger and much more long lasting than Putin had anticipated. glory to Ukraine ! Glory to the heroes !

@@vesakaitera2831 legally Crimea was never actually made part of the Ukraine because Nikita Khrushchev botched the paperwork when handing it over.) On 19 February 1954 the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union issued a decree transferring the Crimean Oblast from the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic to the Ukrainian SSR. According to the Soviet Consti/tution (article 18), the borders of a republic within the Soviet Union could not be re-drawn without the agreement of the republic in question. The transfer was approved by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union; however, according to article 33 of the const/itution, the Presidium did not have the authority to do so. The const/itutional change (articles 22 and 23) to accommodate the transfer was made several days after the decree issued by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet.[1][2] The question should have been submitted to the open discussion of the Supreme Council of the Russian SSR. Moreover, a referendum should have been conducted to find out the opinion of the residents of the two republics. Nothing of that happened. The Presidium of the Supreme Council gathered for a session on February 19, 1954 - only 13 of 27 members were present. There was no quorum, but the decision was adopted unanimously. if somebody stole Crimira it was the leaders of the Ukraine Ukraine annexed Crimea in 1991, grossly violating the rules of international law. Crimea became part of independent Ukraine illegally, and repeated attempts by the Crimean people to redress this injustice met with opposition from Kiev. In 1990, the Parliament of the Ukrainian SSR adopted the Declaration of State Sovereignty, which hid behind the words Expressing the will of the people of Ukraine... and spoke of a new state being established within the existing boundaries of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic based on the Ukrainian nation s right to self-determination. But did the Ukrainian nation have the right to self-determination in Crimea if the number of Ukrainians on the peninsula made up only 25.8 percent of the population? The answer is obvious no, it did not. This was the first step in the annexation of Crimea by the Ukrainian state, which, at that point, was the Ukrainian SSR separate from the Soviet Union.
@fred6319
@fred6319 17 күн бұрын
@@vesakaitera2831 So what did the Ukrainian state do next? On 24 August 1991, the Supreme Court of the Ukrainian SSR, again on the basis of self-determination, declared the independence of Ukraine, arbitrarily identifying the Crimean ASSR as a territory of the newly established state. By doing so, the founders of Ukraine ignored a law requiring a separate referendum to be held in Crimea on the Crimean ASSR s status within Ukraine. This was done deliberately, since Kiev knew perfectly well that the people of Crimea would never vote in favour of becoming part of Ukraine. At the same time, a huge scam to manipulate history was being prepared: on 1 December 1991, a referendum was held illegally in the Crimean ASSR that did not deal with the issue of Crimea s status, but retroactively confirmed the Ukrainian Declaration of Independence in the autonomous republic. Moreover, anyone who had ever stepped foot on the peninsula was allowed to vote. This was to make it seem as if the Crimean people supported Ukrainian independence when, for the most part, they actually boycotted the referendum. In this underhand way, Ukraine took its second step towards the annexation of Crimea. In the US Declaration of Independence, it says that the Creator endowed people with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Just like Americans, Crimeans also want to live, be free and be happy. That is precisely why they spent decades trying to break away from the Ukrainian trident, something they finally managed in 2014 when they returned to Russia.

@@vesakaitera2831 the history of the Crimean people s struggle against its illegal annexation by Ukraine, which began in 1990 and ended in 2014. Questioning the choice of the Crimean people in 2014 seems to be the reason why the US permanent representative to the UN Security Council is keeping quiet about the Ukrainian annexation of Crimea in the 1990s. After all, no one in the world could doubt the results of the Crimean referendum held on 20 January 1991. If it is a case of the deliberate distortion of facts, however, then the situation looks a lot worse.Crimea was never part of ukraine ukraine annexed it when they became independent from the soviet union

Along the way, he described Ukraine as “the biggest prize” in the region, suggesting Kiev joining Europe would “accelerate the demise” of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Six months later, Ukraine’s elected president Viktor Yanukovych was ousted in a violent coup. Writing in Consortium News earlier that month, investigative legend Robert Parry recorded how, over the previous year, NED had funded 65 projects in Ukraine totaling over $20 million. This amounted to what the late journalist dubbed “a shadow political structure of media and activist groups that could be deployed to stir up unrest when the Ukrainian government didn’t act as desired.” NED’s pivotal role in unseating Yanukovych can be considered beyond dispute, an unambiguous matter of record For example, on February 3rd 2014, less than three weeks before police withdrew from Kiev, effectively handing the city to armed protesters and prompting Yanukovych to flee the country, NED convened an event, Ukraine’s lessons learned: from the Orange Revolution to the Euromaidan NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR DEMOCRACY Central & Eastern Europe | Events| Ukraine’s Lessons Learned: From... Agree with most of what was said here, but have a few remarks. - There is not a shred of evidence that Putin was involved in the death of what the west is calling "Putin's political opponents". Putin has enjoyed an approval rating between 70 and 80% for decades, calling these people opponents is ludicrous. Navalny's for instance never obtained more than 7% in any national election and didn't even reach 3% in the previous presidential elections. None of these people ever formed any danger to Putin's position, so why would he take the risk of eliminating them? - Russia is not in a war economy. They did ramp up weapons and ammunition production, but if you analyse the financial reports carefully, you'll notice that the biggest growth did not come from the military production, but from staples and consumer goods.

And all this happened to Ukraine after The US and The Uk did not want the peace agreement signed in Istanbul. It is the collective west who brought Ukraine to what it is now. And it wasn't to free Ukraine, it was to weakend Russia. Putin said and still sais that he want to talk to someone in Washington, as Ukraine is not a suvereine country.
