If you take a good English speaking driver from a company then it’s a good. I don’t rely on freelancers much. Driving around in the summer is also good.

How is the accessibility to different places as i am planning to bring my parents who are senior citizens and cannot walk much so we are planning to use wheelchair mostly
@JustGoWithAmreen3 ай бұрын
Hello Sharmeen, when you say accessibility, where exactly do you mean? Baku itself is a walking city. You can stay in a nice hotel with a lift and nizami street can be walking distance. Other attractions like Baku boulevard, old city etc. they’re walking distance but far considering they’ll be on wheel chairs. As for cities and places outside Baku, you’ll need a proper tour guide English speaking with a car who can take you places. I can organize all of the above for you with very little hassle on your part. Just drop me a dm on Instagram @justgowithamreen

That’s not true. We have a lot of vegetarian food. For example: herb gutab, dovga (made with herbs and yogurt) , we have a lot of food that is made with eggplant , we have all kind of salads , Russian salad, beet salad, we have food with pumpkin , w have veggie kababs , potato kabab , eggplant kabab , tomato kabab , we have summer soup dogramac (similar to dovga but served cold and it taste like ayran with veggies ) we have egg and herbs (kuku) , we have eggs with tomato’s for breakfast. So please don’t misinform the people here. Vegetarian based food are everywhere. Please try them yourself. Maybe you missed those in menu.
@JustGoWithAmreen3 ай бұрын
Hello there, I’ve been to Azerbaijan plenty times and while what you say must be true but we struggled with finding veg food a lot. Azeri food is primarily meat based and while we came across a lot of eggplant and potatoes we never across any other kebabs you’ve mentioned. The guides working with us blatantly told here that there are hardly any chefs in the country that cook vegetarian food. Our group mostly survived on eggplant, potatoes, rice and gutab. That’s it. Salad is not exactly food. The kind of fulfilling food a non-vegetarian can find in Azerbaijan, a vegetarian won’t. They have to settle for Indian restaurants if they wish to have full filling meal.
@bakinka3 ай бұрын
@@JustGoWithAmreen I agree that Azerbaijani food mostly meat based but the foods that I have been mentioning are made with veggies. Besides, some lentil soup also is made without chicken broth , and 100% vegetarian. We have a lot of Turkish restaurants everywhere in Azerbaijan. Turkish cuisine has a lot of vegetarian based food as well , included grape leave dolma filled with rice and veggies. They also have pide with cheese , hummus , and also other vegetarian based food that made with eggplant and yogurt. Almost every Azerbaijani restaurant has dovga (it is a yogurt soup with herbs and chickpeas ). Lots of food that made with eggs and veggies. The one I mentioned before kuku , also green beans with eggs very delicious , tomatoes with eggs (we usually eat it for breakfast) . Every restaurant has mashed potato kabab , eggplant, tomato, green pepper kabab and they also mixed them together and make a salad out of it. It is called a mangal salad. It can be served hot or cold. There are also Georgian restaurants that serve khingali with cheese or Russian restaurant serve pelemeni with cottage cheese or potatoes. We also have Russian perashki made with potatoes, green peas, cabbage , rice, and it is also known as street food.

Thanks for such an elaborate. I’m practically gonna screen shot it and keep it for my fellow Indian travelers. I’m a meat eater so I’ve never faced any issues but they have.
