Was concert cancelled? Not sure about the being told what’s hot. Does that not just make you a Spotify playlist? Why can’t we go back to DJs introducing tracks to people in the UK? Just seeing things from a beginner point of view and these big streaming services don’t push small artist. What happened to having the hidden banger? Playing something that makes people dance without any knowledge of the track. Bring the music back home to the UK ! The UK club scene is dead 💀 How can we get this back ? You have a better view already being in the industry. Everyone else ! Buy the course had a friend couldn’t tell the time before but can now mix. 🔥🔥🔥

I guess im in the minority, but I really dont like the sound of scratching, especially the vocal scratch example you showed. I can appreciate the skills needed to do it, but the sound just isnt for me whatsoever

You’re right. Not for everyone. I roller skate, and I can promise you, if the DJ would start scratching messing up people’s rhythm, we would throw them out the venue. Some people don’t want their 2-step messed with.

some songs are produced with scratching already incorporated in them. and sometimes you don't even notice it. scratching executed well flows smooth you barely notice it . But.. each to their own

I hate scratching especially when DJ's do it just to show how great they are! There was a local DJ that would just start randomly scratching in the middle of a song and it was god aweful. The reaction for most listeners is, WOW he can scratch ... big deal! It's like "OK we get it now move on".
