Catalina Rosas met Blayne Frederick in a bar, and after dating him for two years, he convinced her to let him invest her money. Frederick also reached out to Rosas’ son and began “investing” his money as well. Rosas later found out that Frederick had been lying about his name, as well as his investments. Frederick allegedly lost Rosas more than $50,000, and is now in jail charged with grand theft.

Hi Catalina, I met him under the name Blayne Frederick in 2007. I called the FBI and confirmed several things. I hope he pays for his crimes and spends the rest of his life doing so. I was only 26 when I met him and I knew him for only a few months before he started talking about gold and artwork. I was lucky enough to not get involved because I was busy with school.

The victims they prey on usually are empathetic people and of course they take advantage of that. Run background checks on people immediately before you go on a date. Yeah I was not implying that All Doctors, Lawyers, Janitors, etc... have high self esteem. I have a normal amount of self esteem and I was scammed by a guy I dated for a few month. He had also done the same thing to many with all different incomes and occupations for years. Those people also seem to have a normal amount of self esteem. I think the common thing we all have that they take advantage of is that we have an enormous amount of empathy for people. These sociopathic people will make you question your sanity because they are so good at lying and manipulating even the best of us. Now I run background checks on everyone . I also know more about narcissistic sociopathic personalities and can spot the red flags easier. We can agree to disagree. Cheers

Well I was married to the most charming handsome man All was ok for a few years . Until i Bought a Property with money i had made with hard work for 3 yrs building a worn out business back into a positive earning affair. I sold bought the property in my name. We had a son and daughter life was wonderful . 7 yrs later I sold our home so my children papa did not go to prison. He ha been living the high life with his travel agency with money of others.We separated never recovered financial for a new home but earned enough for education for the children. Am 80 live alone on a small pension . No more men. Since over 30 years .
