No, it's legal. Axis deviation up to 30 degrees is acceptable.

@@brian95331 I watched it again and it seems to me that the ball is visible to the opponent the whole time. Obviously, when one of the players is left-handed, the ball is naturally less visible due to the mirror positioning of the players. I may also be wrong, of course, because it looks different from the camera angle than from the table.

I feel the backhand serve does the same spins, but I can control it. Never feel like I have full control with the reverse pendulum. I do throw one in, when I'm doing the pendulum serve, but I have more success with the backhand serve.

Same with me. I do find the reverse pendulum tricky. It's probably easier to disguise the spin than BH. But the BH serve is much easier to do.

Glad someone said that. There are pros and cons but the biggest advantage with backhand serve is that you are already facing the opponent. So the turning and getting into position part is very quick. This plays a very significant role when you are tired and slowing down. All serves need lots of practice. With backhand serve you might lose on disguise but control, recovery and placement are much easier. Examples - Zoran Primorac, Alexander Karakasevic.

@@TomLodziak Please note that this robot produced by the same company and in the same factory that also produce the Butterfly Amicus Prime. But they have different software and as far as I know PowerPong Omega is the only one that is getting updates. I suppose Butterfly is using their name and has bought a software license from this company but unless the Butterfly Amicus Prime is substantionally cheaper its a no brainer to chose the Power Pong Omega.

honestly there is only one best Robot right now, which im using since more than 2 years daily now, which is the Robo Pong 3050XL why is it the best? coz it can do everything just like many other top robots BUT it shows 2 things which the others dont: 1) Spin 1-4 green lamps and 1-4 red lamps show the amount of top/backspin so u know whats coming and this enables you to do random drills as well which u just cant do without it ! 2) Side-spin direction and general direction, the head turns so you can see which side spin is coming and also moves into the direction the next shot will go you so u dont have to guess that ether ! without these two points u cant really do good advanced training with complex randomized drills and to my knowledge there are no other robots having this built in equally good right now ;)

Hi serves arent bad but they are a bit too high and lack the topspin variant (which you can do with contacting the ball more at the front side of the bat on the upswing part), which is a bit sad if u make a whole video about it.
