Love the d&b intro - so that's what we're missing! :D Ed, thank you so much for reviewing our video. The points make a lot of sense and are something we didn't consider. You're right - our current intro doesn't sell it very well. At the time, we always assumed each video was part of a series on Guildford as opposed to individually packaged video guides ready to go. Which perhaps is why we didn't have the 'wah wah wee wah' effect. Your points have inspired us to get that 'uumph' upfront along with sections of the best bits from the video for our upcoming videos! Also, we've worked on the pacing tips you mentioned for another video - it's really helped to make it more engaging. 🙌

This earns you a subscriber, thanks! I don't have an active YT channel but I may do one day, so I'm kind of bookmarking helpful resources, and I think you have some great information on your channel. One small thing... I actually *don't like* videos that start without any pause. This is because I happen to hate KZbin's habit of instantly playing videos before I've hit PLAY. I prefer to get everything how I want it - full screen, comments refreshed, everything perfect. Only then am I ready to play the video. If I try to pause a video and rewind it to the start so I can do all that stuff, the player is unresponsive for a couple of seconds and it's quite frustrating hearing the opening voiceover or whatever, knowing that in a second or two I'm going to be pausing it and rewinding it anyway. I actually like it when a video has a slow opening with a few seconds of a silent logo, for example, so that I have time to do all that stuff. I guess I'm not in a major demographic, but that's how I happen to do things :)
