Now that the truth is out, where is the apology from the likes of Piers Morgan and the overall media for their part in the derogation of her character? These things go unpunished yet leave everlasting damage to the victims. No wonder her guard was up and she appeared emotionless, her character was being publicly assassinated by a phone hacking liar like Piers Morgan.

Being likeable and being a liar are 2 separate traits. Just because you might not like her doesn't mean she's a liar. Try to envisage one of the women in your life in this situation, then imagine the UK press taking a collective dump on them after going through a terrifying experience as an early 20 something. Get a grip of yourselves.

None of us know how we'd react unless we went through it. My impression is that she was/is so used to men making lewd comments to her & hitting on her that she's built a resilience to it which made/makes her come across as cold & non-emotional. She also seems to have learnt at a young age how to manipulate men & get what she wants out of them. If she'd been crying every time she gave an interview, people would have called her a hysterical mess so either way, she's never going to win the media likability contest. I'm sure her agent saw 💷💷 by selling her story & negotiated the interviews for her so what would any of us do? Thankfully, she wasn't harmed so the outcome may have been different if she had been but imagine how many young girls & women are subjected to this abuse & terror on a global scale. Chloe was very lucky but that's also due to her smart thinking & composure to survive & overcome this ordeal which I personally think should be commended. No wonder so many women don't report abuse & r@p€ when they're treated so disrespectfully by everyone else!

This has echoes of Lindsay Chamberlain back in Australia in the 80s. Not traumatised enough, didn't cry enough, didn't show enough emotion, too detached...therefore guilty. Years later, further evidence completely exonerated her. What the world sees externally is so different to what is going on internally.

It seems a lot of people thought Chloe was laying because she didn't speak in the manner they expected. Lindy Chamberlain didn't speak in the way people expected when her small baby was taken and killed by a dingo. She was convicted and served years in prison. Eventually the baby's jacket was found and it was evident that the child had indeed been taken by a dingo - carnivorous wild animal which is related to canines but not a dog. So in addition to the horror of losing a baby in that way, Lindy was falsely accused and punished, partly because of her somewhat deadpan manner. Which meant NOTHING.

@@charlotte241000, You're probably asking the wrong person here. It's not that I want to be insensitive. I’m just sceptical and don't always think people can be trusted. Sometimes, there are ulterior motives and people stage this stuff. It's unbelievable to some of us, but it's how far some people will stoop. It could be legit, but it could also be a setup in equal measure. I find it odd how since this all happened there has been a book, Big Brother, and now a TV show, etc. And when she speaks about it there is always this slight look that she is being devious or cunning, to me. Sometimes, the body language and eyes don't lie, but everyone will have their interpretation. So, I don't know?

@@nomadicdramatic2496, I never denied it was completely false. It's just a possibility. None of us know unless we were physically there as a witness. Do you seriously believe everything people say? There's been a book, TV show, Big Brother and OnlyFans since this whole ordeal.

I love everyone saying “Watch the documentary series”. It is her word as she was the only one there who’s talking. You can make up anything. No one knows.
