The sheer giddiness you have towards your projects and following through with them impress me Way more than watching some guy spend $100,000 to fail at something new every week. Where do these yahoo's get the financial backing to blow through the stacks of cash they spend buying the whole store worth of products to hand them out for free to whoever show up that day? That's just stupid? You accomplish things I can actually do with the little money I have. If you do Power Tour 2023 I WILL show up just to catch up with you and shake your hand. Your father's way of sorting tools by size on the joists overhead is pure genius. If I didn't have about 6 full size tool boxes I'd do that. I love what you have done with this truck. I sold my 454 powered 76 GMC almost 2 years ago, now, and still miss the performance of that stump pulling combo. The body on my beast was getting as close to being as bad as your beauty. The floorboards looked like yours, and all the cab mounts and external cab corners were rotted out, but she drove like a dream! I was writing as you started your burnout, and started to laugh. I am in total agreement with your philosophy, and the people that look at an engine, and feel it needs to be scrapped just because of some pitting in the cylinders, need to learn that in the 50s, engine shops routinely did "repairs", where they would knurl the worn out pistons, and stuff them back in the block for who knows how long. Good for you. Now you have me thinking again of doing the power tour, but I am almost 80, and don't know if I can get my 454 powered 55 Cameo back on the road in time. I have too many other tasks with a much higher priority. I only have a turbo 400, but I have a sekret weapon. I installed a Hone-O-Drive in the truck, when I installed the 396 in 1971. Keep up the great work, you bring stuff, that even looks questionable to me, back to life. More power to you.

I love it, I drug a 64 Olds f85 out of a junk yard, a car that had no business being back on the road. So rusty you could barely see color of paint, it had matching numbers 330 cubic inch engine 3 on the tree, 2brl carb, I opened the trunk and no bottom, or gas tank, one week of junk yard digging and parts and metal I drove that car another 15000 miles, it made the best memories I can remember, the fun part was it was a fast car, I smoked many nice CARS WITH IT. I sold it. Back to the junk yard twice for 50 dollars and rebaught the thing because of how hard you could pound it and it kept going, FINALLY I sold and rebuilt the engine and trim parts and made a good profit off it. Good memories.
