Swedish candy loves to play with flavours on the tongue. Sweet, sour, chocolate, licorice, melting, chewing or salty. We learn to appreciate the experience as kids. This is a thing in all Nordic countries. We all eat a lot of candy, because it has such huge variety and quality.

@Anna Karl Fazer is a Finnish brand. If you don’t believe me, I found Karl Fazer personal history written on Fazer’s website. He thought of himself as a Finn, the company was founded in Finland, and is still operating from Finland. So Fazer is Finnish. I’ll put a link here. And also, we Finns are quite proud of Fazer, so we don’t like it when people say it’s Swedish. Sweden produces a lot of good candies and such, but Fazer is ours. Thank you. www.fazergroup.com/this-is-fazer/history--heritage/karl-fazer--portrait/

Such an amazing box and I think everyone thinks so too by the comments! Oh those truffle chips were incredible. One of the best bags of chips I’ve ever had. It would be dangerous if I could buy them here in the Uk 😂 ah thank you! Ahh no way! Alex loves Mikkeller, he’s been to the one in Barcelona the one in LA and I think one more in Copenhagen maybe?! Oh wow. Wouldn’t have thought to put something savoury on them but will have to try that! Great idea. 😋 sounds delicious with glög. No way! I didn’t realise that ☕️. Haha yeah I think we hold the record for amount of tea drink 🤣 Haha you are very right. Your chocolate definitely is better than the US! 😆 sorry America 🙈 Thank you for the recipe. I’ll definitely have to check that out! Oh wow. I bet with sprinkles they would be amazing 😍😋 I find it so interesting how different our flavours can be in different countries. It really does depends what you are brought up on! I love sour candies so I reckon if I lived in Sweden that I would have grown up loving the salty ones too. No way! Tasted like it had chocolate in! How crazy!! Oh wow really, you just eat it like that! Would never have thought that. Delicious though 😆 I hope you love our boxes to come 🎉🍫 Once again thank you so much for such an awesome box

The nut content is around 33% (while typical nutella type products has 2-3% nuts). It _may_ contain some cocoa or cocoa butter as well. The white and chewy kind of nougat is called *_fransk nougat_* (french nougat).

The nougat you are familiar with is white nougat and the main difference is that it has egg whites in it that makes it more chewy, what you had here was brown nougat (or possibly german/Viennese) nougat that is softer and more chocolate like. Oh, and the fish candy you got is not the one that the american candy is based on, the original is made by Malaco and come in a few different flavours, but not elderflower. :-) Lakrisal and all other salty liqourice candy is delicous, the saltier the better! Ammonium chloride is delicious! :D

We have about 80% of those candies in norway and I gotta say after watching this I'm suprised, people from other countries really have a bad time with sour and salty candies don't they. The salty licorice monkies are very good and I could gladly eat a whole bag, while most of the sweet candies are too sweet and, really, you can't eat a whole lot before going down. Though great vid, keep it up. Next maybe try some common swedish and norwegian foods, I bet you'll be suprised.

I have friends from UK and Ireland and met a lot of people from the UK and only one(!) really likes salty candy. She buys bags full every time she’s in Sweden. So, I guess this is a very typical Swedish flavour. Me, I can’t live without salty candy. Love it! My favourite is actually a version of Gott & Blandat called Salt & Blandat. A mix of different salty candy, more or less (almost not) salty. Thanks for entertaining.

Marabou does indeed come in like 100 flavors, but fruit and almond must be the worst one. It's what your grandmother keeps in the fridge, i don't know anyone under the age of 70 that buys it. Regarding the swedish languge it shares alot of words with english so it would'nt be too hard to learn, Swedish is also very similar to dutch and deutch (and of course the obvious, danish and norwegian).
