The plastic pollution doesn't get talked about enough. I've given myself a break from news at least one or two days a week. I'm tired and I'm worn out from it. This is very thought provoking. There are definite pros and cons to having one dominant narrative. It's cohesive and easy to digest, but who shapes it and what is their agenda? We generally applaud the expression of multiple perspectives. But this is chaos if we don't have the proper tools to filter this constant barrage of competing information. Technology appears to compound our own cognitive inadequacies atm, but could it also provide us with a way to overcome them? Maybe we need literal filters that point out logical flaws and bias the same way word processors underline misspelling and bad grammar. I don't know. I'm just thinking out loud.
