Let us realize the truth about the model vs trying to add too much meaning to it. The matrix is a tool for assessment of relationships in a badly managed environment. In other words, it is a model to “disect” i.e. gossip about a narcissist, usually a middle manager and nothing else. Instead, learn about the Situational Leadership, the power of No, Herzberg/Kano and so on. Management should learn about Leadership Circle Profile, Competing Value Framework and Erica Ariel Fox’s 4 + 3 winning from within model. Some models are simply not that useful.
