Today I load up my landscape photography gear, throw it in to my camper van and head out on an overnight adventure. I am blessed with beautiful conditions throughout this photography trip and shoot some lovely scenes. I talk a little about van life and how I use it to further my photography, I cook up some nice food and all in all, I have a fantastic trip out.

I said it before on one of your earlier videos. They are spruce trees you are looking at in the first image, not pine trees. They are completely different species. Not all conifers are pines! I love the heather shot. Stunning

@Wetterhoun I have to agree with you on this, those trees stuck out to me right away. I would go with a tighter square crop with just the bottom three stones and the right most one placed on the golden spiral and a bit less sky (about 1/6th of the frame). I like the other images though and the colors look fantastic!

The webs you can cheat a little by doing a very slow shutterspeed low iso and using your mobile phone torch, wiz it round in circles to avoid flash like light. Catches the drops in a rainbow sometimes if your lucky. And then the last two landscapes ..... pffffffff .... 🥺😍 jaw droppingly beautiful. Thank you for sharing Thomas.

The sheer amount of work you are putting into these video productions is something to be proud of. It looks like you have at times 3 to 4 Cameras following you on your journey. This is another level, I have to compliment you for that. I sometimes am a critic but when the person deserves praise I make sure they get mine. Thank you.

I live in North Central Florida. It looks like summer here most of the year. And when it doesn’t look like summer, it is brown. Nothing but brown. So when you were crossing the board walk, talking about how you had no compositions, all I could see were compositions. I hope you know how grateful you are to live where you live. I have easily a day’s drive to get even close to something interesting. I watch a number of landscape photography channels, and it pains me to always hear folks struggling for compositions when they’re surrounded by them. Come on down to North Central Florida, show me what I’m missing.

I love the first shot. Technical note: the tree is a whole one. It just used to grow at the very edge of the forest, retaining the outside facing branches all the way down (just like the other edge trees that were cut down) and loosing all the other branches (except for the very top) because what's the point of having them when they are shaded by the surrounding trees...

Thomas I want you to know you brought me to a stop and a second of piece today. Over the past few days I have had to make decisions no one should have to make. I have also spent the last few days Saying good bye to my mom as she is passing away... I have always enjoyed your videos but today I stopped on your lake photo and found myself lost in it, but every word you had just said about only everything absolutely necessary for the composition needs to be in the photo but nothing else. Thank you. I am not sure if you will even read this but really Thank you in more ways then I can put into words and more ways then you will ever know. Thank You.

Tip to keep your camera dry: Get an arcaswiss type clamp with 1/4" threaded hole, make a cable/pipe type clamp and attach the arca clamp to the handle of a lightweight umbrella (1/4" bolt, nylon washers work well, etc). This then clamps easily onto your L bracket and rotates to where you need it for handsfree, dry operation. Remove umbrella before you take the shot or it can shake your camera! Especially good for snow, but watch for any wind!

Thats one thing I like about my RB67 Bellows. It's like having a macro camera, @22:14 I don't like to criticize professional photographers of your caliber but I just don't like the trees on the left that the rocks lead you to, at that point it draws you right off the edge. I think 3 rocks right up to the edge of that 4th on the left would draw you in then you would go to the back of the image and across to the right.
