On Thursday night, Amen Thompson was drafted to the Houston Rockets and his twin Ausar Thompson was drafted to the Detroit Pistons. They join TODAY to talk about how it felt “surreal” to have their names called in the Top 5 and how important their family support is to their success.

Their play style is different. Amen is a better PG but Ausar has better handles. Amen is more athletic as well so you would notice how they move and figure out which is which. 😂

Saw them play in the 2023 NBA Summer league. Very grounded and mature for their age. They are good players. Upside is going to be amazing. Having a father and mother in the home is huge for our youth. Good luck with your journey young men.

Do you think Overtime Elite has the power to manipulate the draft? The fact that so many current players, team owners and even the former NBA commissioner are investors you can see how manipulating the draft could boost the private market valuations by A LOT potentially by +500mln. More than making up for the loss of revenue to a team. Clearly this sort of reckless capitalism exists today in America but feels so wrong when in involves such great institutions like High School and College basketball.
