Have to agree with most of the other comments here - Tony Stark is likely not in Valhalla. But I will go a bit further in my reasoning - according to Norse mythology, it is warriors that have fallen in battle that Odin deems worthy of residing with him in Valhalla. There is nothing in the mythology that says anyone needs to be a God or god. Just a warrior. It can be assumed that a person must be of Asgardian or Norse heritage to even be considered by Odin.

@@atomosvrial1708 Technically, Thor is also an alien to Tony more so than a god due to all the space stuff involved. So wouldn't really change any fundamental beliefs. So why being an atheist wouldn't be hard to do simply by virtue of knowing that the gods aren't biblical as they are made out to be. They are very much flesh and bone like he is, just more durable. That or he may be a secular believer so he may be in a couple after lives or possibly by virtue of coming from believers prior as well, since faith can be passed down.

The way I think it worked is how they explained it in moon knight in which people will go or interpret the afterlife in the way that they believe in. Jane foster probably believed in it after hanging out with Thor and other asguardians for so long. The asguardians probably borrowed the belief that it’s if they died in battle from hanging out with humans like they did with believing they were gods despite being basically powerful aliens

I agree with this. But in Thor love and thunder Thor says at one point that you need to die in battle and sacrifice your life for somthing good to get to valhalla. Loki and Tony are probably there. Someone like Thanos or gorr would not be there because they definitely didn't die for a good cause. So I think its a combination of dying in battle for a good cause, and have that godly energy.

I do however believe that if anyone had a chance to go to Valhalla it would probably most likely be Captain America since he was worthy of the wielding of the hammer mjolnir. Marvel has multiple connected realms of consciousness after character death. It's dependent on their closest belief system as evidenced in Moon Knight. Unless Tony was as connected to Asgard as Jane, I just don't see it.

I think Tony's chances of getting into Valhalla were about as likely as someone winning the lottery 50 times in a row. Valhalla, according to mythology, is on Asgard- which no longer exists- and to get to Valhalla a Vallyrie needs to carry your soul there, which are also mostly gone. Also also, i believe you need a connection to the Pantheon to even have a chance, and I doubt being friends with Thor is enough.

Hmmm… according to a couple of books (that are very well researched btw, Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan) in order to be brought to Valhalla, you have to die performing a heroic act holding a weapon (and then a Valkyrie reaps you and carries you on their winged horse and brings you to Valhalla). So, either way, Tony and Jane died a hero with their weapons in hand, with or without cosmic energies… Valhalla it is! Unless there are no Valkyries on active duty left :-)

This video feels like a reach, trying to relate different power sets and correlate them based on their colors is such a un-nuanced take. At this point we have two MCU examples of heroes making it to differing realms of afterlife despite not belonging to cultures that correspond with each realm. Moon Knight goes to the Egyptian afterlife despite not being Egyptian because he was Khonshu’s avatar. Jane Foster became Mighty Thor because of the enchantment on Mjolnir and was allowed to enter Valhala despite not being Asgardian. Clearly there is now precedent for a hero to enter a realm of afterlife for a culture they dont belong to as long as their powers come from a object or being belonging to the corresponding culture. The powers briefly granted to Tony by the Infinity Stones did make him a conduit for cosmic energy, but because the infinity stones dont belong to the Asgardians (they predate them) there’s really no reason to believe that Tony was given the chance to enter Valhala. More likely, the MCU is setting up the idea that Heaven (Christianity) is real and if Tony ended up anywhere, its likely there. Unless ppl believe the carpenter god mentioned in Thor Love and Thunder was not referring to Jesus

I think it's possible you gotta think about how the gods and there afterlife and strength sort of comes from people believing in them. So with that tony was atheist but he also knew Thor making him at least know about gods. He did die in battle Odin could definitely see him as worthy to be in valhalla. Getting into valhalla has nothing to do with being a God or cosmic energy it only requires belief and dying in a battle no matter what that battle is it doesn't have to be physical battle. Tony didn’t believe in Valhalla, given that he was made on earth and believed in either god and Jesus. Especially the scene in IW with him and Chris Pratt when Pratt mentions Jesus.. But it is the MCU and they don’t follow the comics too much so heck, Stark could be there after all.. 🤷🏽

So I wonder if the energy Banner (in his Professor Hulk form) had corsing through him from putting on their gaunlet and using it to snap everyone back, had disapated after he used it and dropped it or if it still is partly within him. I know it'd be a stretch but imagine if somehow he realized he couldn't contain the energy left within him so he started to attempt to pull it out only to pull out the reality stones energy which someone (unfortunatly it wouldn't be Ross anymore) would use it on themselves with the intention of gaining the reality stones powers for themselves only for the Hulk DNA to combine with it to make Red Hulk. Maybe the same equivalent but with the Mind Stone's power could make the Leader.
