I don't understand how his very first training block coming back gave a raw 460kg at RPE 6 and nothing has looked anywhere near as good since
@MarkHanson-du3qsКүн бұрын
Yes I agree, maybe he is taking it easy on the sauce until the final prep
@josesolano2759Күн бұрын
My guess is the elephant bar is much easier for him
@Therighthanddon23 сағат бұрын
I’d say he’s accumulated quite a lot of fatigue from all the comps he did this year. Some were the Arnold’s, rogue and SMOE which are the heaviest competitions all season so he’s probably got a lot of cumulative fatigue as a result
@Adam-bw6dj19 сағат бұрын
It was on a different bar and considering he's won every deadlift he's done this year with only a second attempt it's not too bad. Also, he did pull 458kg raw with more in the tank. This will look far easier when he's peaked, he always does.
@paavoilves541618 сағат бұрын
I don't understand why but Thor always peaks extraordinarily well. His training always looks difficult but then he suddenly gets +10% on comp day.

@lukea1363 сағат бұрын
Must say, this didn't look as easy as I expected. Not sure if he was lifting slowly or something, but it looked like his max would be around 460/470 based on that.

Hes the he best thats 6+ @ 440+ this year . Can pull 1000 lb almost any week. The peak and beard will be epic

Keep in mind who that person is. For someone who deadlifted over 500kg 440 is lightweight, that's why nobody is suprised

I think we are a few years away from 970. 501 is still the record. (yeah i know it's pounds)

Looked fairly comfortable. Looked like 465 max today though. Although it should be said that he was feeling tired that day.
@joebot9309Күн бұрын
He is far far far far off from peaking and still needs to put on 30lbs
@haventhebeast2671Күн бұрын
@@joebot9309 For him a bodyweight of 205-215kg-ish would be best for him so like between 450 and 475lbs. That would guarantee he will pull 505 with relitive ease.
