I have the HRT RAC, which is a great plate carrier, but if I didn’t have that I would definitely be looking at the Thorax. The thorax definitely seems to be head & shoulders better than most carriers.

You probably should have mentioned the side armor caps are only available in coyote and multicam. Any else is a no-go. And the standard cummerbund doesn't have molle on the inside to mount another brand of side pouch (a little disappointing).
