That’s exactly what I thought. I’ve struggled with anxiety and severe perfectionism since I was very little so I have extremely low self-esteem and I think my childhood self would be disappointed that it hasn’t gotten any better

Ligeia D.Aurevilly that’s exactly how I feel all the time, and has led to many breakdowns (panic attacks) due to a loss of control, helplessness or feeling of failure so I’m starting counselling to try to manage it.

Ligeia D.Aurevilly update, I started anxiety meds and I’ve been so much happier and less anxious lately. I haven’t had any anxiety attacks since and although I’m still a perfectionist, it doesn’t come with the overwhelming sense of anxiety to be perfect, but just my desire to do well.

As someone else said, you can have subtitles on 99% of all KZbin videos. I do captioning work and you may not realize it, but it really takes A LOT of time and effort. It would be almost impossible for one creator to subtitle each of their own videos 😊

The auto captions are rarely even 90% accurate. It’s very easy for the creators to go in and fix the auto captions to make them correct and would actually make their video more popular in KZbin’s algorithm. The auto captions honestly suck because they make things so confusing.

I felt exactly like you a few months ago but I decided to be happy. It does take to make tough decisions about what you are currently doing (study or job) and people around your as your family and friends. Keep a positive mind, love and take care of yourself, and of course keep positive people around youu. All I wanted to tell you is that you are the one who decide to be happy. So be true to yourself, love yourself and live the life of your dream girl. Per example I sing all day long even if my singing skills are not so good lol and smiling more often healed my mind 🤷‍♀️ and I am studying what I love, keeping some nice friends close to me. There are always tough moments but with a smile and a positive mind it do not last for long ;)

Idk if this is of interest for anybody, anyways, I've always been socially awkward and at times anxious but I now work as a horse groom and it is basically my job to do better with horses than people. This lady with those bubbles..I totally get it, because my fear is when I am old I could not act young as I am in my heart. We often forget that older people are the same in their mind, heart and they were once young too! And I trully think that little things makes us happy the most and we should really keep inner child in us. But as you get older people think you area bit crazy if you want to do things as you were young, but it is actually not, because it is in you and you are still you even tho your skin is more wrinkled and your feet are slower... we often start doing what is socially acceptable and it is so weird that usualy socially acceptable things are the ones that makes us unhappy ans people still judge, yet it is the one thing that makes us happy the most...if that makes sense.

You are capable of changing your life one step at a time! I had depression and anxiety for the past 5 years and what helped me was fixing relationships with friends and family, talking to them about everything and taking small self care steps, starting with getting out of bed and making a healthy breakfast. Taking little steps to care for yourself and spending time with friends and family will help and in a year's time you could be a completely different person with a new life. I know this comment is a month old but I truly hope you are either better or this helps you some how.
