I left TSM like 4 years ago when Overwatch came out, I still was a TSM fan back then but when Regi literally disband the TSM Ow team I went into looking for another org to follow since I was not interested in Lol ans TSM anymore and then I realized the close minded Regi is and the reality of TSM as a esports org, literally Bjerg and Leffen are the only good players on the org on any esport, anything else besides them is just straight up bad, I end it up following EnvyUs, and while I knew them first when they had a team on the LCS(not good at all btw) I followed the Csgo team and the brand New Dallas Fuel team, and since then I have learned what a real good org is and not just a guy with money only focusing on one game and giving just the left overs to another esports, TSM had a Csgo team, 2 great smash players, a good lol team, now they only have a mediocre lol team a good smash player and 3 useless fortnite streamers... I'll give you a good advice forget TSM go follow another org, whatever other org you end up following will have more and better teams in way more esports than TSM

Always a pleasure hearing someone praising Bjerg. No matter what, I still believe he is hugely underappreciated. Not only greatest US player, but great personality and role model you can build your team around. I don't care much about orgs, really. I'm not even American. But I do watch LCS, and cheering for TSM just because of Bjerg. And this split I consider to be great success. Team is in place, chemistry is there, talent aplenty, and summer should be Bjerg's 7th championship.

I would also argue that Bjergsen is the reason why TSM so easily replaces world class players with others that fit the way TSM plays the game. I think TSM is an organization that buys good players and waste their talent, i have always gotten the impression that their coaching team is crap based on their results, if they keep up this mentality of getting bjergsen the players he needs they will fail again and again. What TSM needs is a personality and a great all around team where everyone is valued equally. That to me is a team that will make it to worlds elite, I do not see see that now. I see that on Liquid.

This is an oddly dumb video from you thorin. Bjergsen is the best player on TSM so of course he;s the most important piece of TSM. But just like Faker is with SKT one player can't win you a title. TSM has been good at putting pieces around Bjergsen that allow him to win those titles. The year they decided to replace a homeland star (Doubllift) with an international performer (Zven) they failed to make the finals twice in a row and Bjergsen was on the team.

Sneaky is the face of C9 like Bjergsen is to TSM but Sneaky's actual like game impact isn't as big as Bjergsen. Like Sneaky is a good player and good adc, you have a hard time replacing him. But he also not the player to 1v9 you games like Bjergsen and you won't built a team around him. He would be a good piece to build around like Bjergsen.

So in a game where the players drive decisions more than coaches.. A player (being 1/5th of the team) that is above the rest of the competition tends to drive a team to more victories.. Kind of obvious.. Teams aren't mature enough in the scene yet to be coach/staff driven. It's still mainly the players until the OG players are all gone and there is a more organized system around esports (like college classes teaching how to be a coach like we have for traditional sports). The numbers support that the players make the team right now... Again that's obvious though... At least I thought so

Personally FNC’s issue is Rekkles’ not being flexible enough and their usage of jungle. I think a team like FNC just needs Rekkles to come out of his shell, and get analysts or positional coaches to assist top side (top, jg, mid) with their gameplan. It felt like FNC was unprepared and had bad drafts due to their weaknesses.

Is this guy serious? When Bjergsen won his first couple of championships, he had Turtle (top 2 then), lustboy (top support then), Amazing (really good player), Svenskeren, and Dyrus (among the top in s3), all this when talent in LCS was trash. Their competition was Hai, Balls, Lemonnation, who are all not in the league anymore, cmon now. Heck players who have played with Bjergsen: Santorin, Svenskeren and Turtle are all still playing and kicking ass on top 4 teams, despite a significant overall improvement in talent in the LCS. Speaks volume for how good they are/were. Then he got Hauntzer, Yellowstar, DL, Zven/Mithy. Again all elite talents. Sure some didn't perform well but that does not mean they were not great players. Yellowstar just came off leading the best Fnatic season ever, Zven/Mithy were considered the best western botlane and Mithy is still doing great in EU. This season they added BB, another top tier talent and Smoothie who had crazy good season with C9 and was widely considered among the best NA support before joining TSM. Which other player got to play with this level of talent consistently over their career? So when you are talking about Bjergsens' championship teams, he always HAD way more talent stacked in his team RELATIVE to other LCS teams he beat. We are not comparing this TL team vs Bjergsens past championship teams, we are talking about teams he won with VS other teams in the league he beat. Even if we do compare versus TL championship teams, last season TSM again had a ridiculous group with every position in top 2 except for jungler. This season I would say almost every TSM player played at a top 2/3 level. BB is kicking ass, Arkadian made huge improvement. So talent wise they are not that far off compared to even TL, the supposed super team. Its a complete revisionist history to say Bjergsen didn't have great teams relative to other LCS teams in almost every single season especially his championship ones. Keep pointing out a player here or there that was subpar but completely ignore the fact that rest of the teams were complete trash compared to the talent Bjergsen played with. TSM kept importing talent after talent including and for Bjergsen while rest of the teams were scraping the bottom of the NA talent barrel for the longest time. I guess fanboy Thoorin need your Bjergsen to have a fully STACKED team in every position otherwise they are bringing him down. Just to hammer this point, I can name maybe 3 players who Bjergsen played with in his career that would be considered below average player for their role relative to competition: Gleeb, Mike Yeung, Grig (still debatable). THREE! Want me to name how many below average players someone like say Doublelift played with throughout his career? Utter delusion and revisionist history at its finest.

Bjerg is definitely overrated. He's done fuck all in international events but people keep sucking this choker's dick. Making excuses for him every year. You didn't even refute or disagree with anything Thorin said though... Thorin agreed that TSM got a number of talented players, but said exactly what you said: They didn't perform. Who did? Bjergsen. At the end of the day Thorin's point is essentially just that Bjergsen repeatedly carried his team much further in the playoffs than their split performance should allow. Also, he said nothing in this video about Bjergsen > DL. He said Bjergsen > TSM. Who is the delusional one here?
@mn8931
@mn8931 5 жыл бұрын
@@VictorAFP Thats completely BS to say they didnt perform. You can look at their stats. Hauntzer did, Turtle did, Lustboy did, DL did. Yes, SOME did not perform but again, thats a ridiculous argument. EVERY player in NA has played with players who havent performed. Why should Bjergsen be ANY different. Overall he still did have better players than other teams. And THATS my point. When did I say DL was better?? I just said Bjergsen was lucky to play with so many good players throughout his career while others did not even get that luxury. Just used DL as an example.
@VictorAFP
@VictorAFP 5 жыл бұрын
@@mn8931 Yeah of course it's an oversimplification to say "they didn't perform", but go back and watch the video: Look how many times TSM finished the season ranked 5 or 6 and STILL made it to the final, largely because of Bjergsen's abilities and experience. "Every player has played with bad players" Yes, and Thorin's whole point is that none of those other players, except DL, have consistently made it to the finals. You clearly have some bias against Bjergsen, because you constantly misinterpret Thorin's points. How is Bjergsen the lucky one when he's the one carrying the team, albeit to varying degrees each split? Again, no one is saying that Kasing, Dyrus, Gleeb, Hauntzer, etc. were bad players, but were they top 1-2 players? No. Yet TSM has finished top 1 or 2 every split while Bjergsen has been on the team, and he is consistently the best midlaner and often best player in NA each split. Thorin is totally right to say that Bjergsen's average performance is MUCH higher than the rest of TSM's average. How can you possibly disagree?
@mn8931
@mn8931 5 жыл бұрын
@@VictorAFP You still dont get my point. Hauntzer was top talent in NA, dont know what are you talking about. Kasing never played a split, just one tournament with TSM and Dyrus yes he declined in s4 but he was still good in s3. So essentially you mentioned ONE player Gleeb who I would say was below average. ONE in his career! Ok I will give you Mike Yeung, TWO!! Thats how good and lucky Bjergsen got having some really talented players around him throughout his career. Now, your point around TSM not having top 2 players in every role and yet ended up top 2. First, math doesn't work that way. For that to happen you are assuming another top 2 team had all the top 1/2 players on their team, which is not the case. Second, its because all the other NA teams SUCKED. TSM had way better players on AVERAGE on their team than other teams. TSM kept importing good players (Lustboy, Amazing, Santorin, Svenskeren) while other NA teams were scraping the bottom of the NA trash talent pool for the longest time. You Bjergsen fanboys are in denial and always finding ways to give ALL the credit to Bjergsen when TSM wins and blame his teammates when he loses. And all the while discrediting others like DL for having better teammates when they beat Bjergsen. Delusional is right.

@Jurica Sambol Bjerg is the second best mid in the west behind Caps and the team he is on dosent give him justice for how good he rly is. Its like with KeeN on afreeca he is on of the best toplaners in the world but he is stuck on a mediocre lck team. I just thought of what if they created a scary line-up on paper and see what it could do in Eu.

Yeah its true that in recent times bjerg has not been looking too hot even on a on paper super team being tsm 2016-2017 but the thing thats makes bjerg 'the bjerg' still remains and results this year still shows that we shouldent count him out. But the thing that worries me is that his time in NA will take away what made him special in the first place.

I agree. I remember back watching when he first became a shotcaller for tsm and tsm was having problems and even after that they still were. Bjergsen and regi were sitting next to eachother in one of their tsm youtube series. Bjerg says to to regi that he didn't want to shotcall. Regi and staff kind of forced bjerg to shotcall even when he didn't really want to. And I can see why. He's not a good shotcaller.

Most of the points you make are fair but can we stop calling Bjergesen a world class player when he never does anything internationally. MSI 2017 G2 go to finals perkz shows up MSI 2018 caps makes a name for him self, what does Bjeg do internationally get solo killed by crown, lock in ryze gain a 15 cs lead in lane and play passive af while his team losses. You cant tell me that both 2016 TSM and 2017 Should not have gotten out of their groups a real world class mid when he has to puts their team in the backpack and goes for the win Bjerg on the other hand fights to not take the blame so all the plebs get to say wow man if only Bjerg had a better team "Bjerg and the 4 wards lul". the only thing that has not changed over the years is him in the midlane and TSM never even getting out of groups just my 2 cents tho all you plebs feel free to tell me how wrong i am.

That would be true if bjergsen goes to a team where he's outperformed. Jensen joined DL and CoreJJ, both vastly better. Even when DL was on TSM, bjerg was still the best player on that team. Bjergsen is TSMs image at this point.
@mysticsham7430
@mysticsham7430 5 жыл бұрын
That's unlikely, while Jensen was a great player on C9, he wasn't the face of the org nor has he yet reached Bjerg level of greatness (Although I think he will and possibly might surpass, if he can grow and feed off DL confidence). Bjerg off TSM would have same impact as DL off CLG, TSM unless they find someone amazing to fill the gap becomes a relic of the past and the winning goes to where Bjerg goes.

Sorry but all the tsm fans already left in 2017. 2018 was just the last straw for the fans and I honestly think everyone is already ready for a new prospect for tsm mid laner. Even though bjerg still has a good career time left. I don’t think he will win anything internationally since doublelift got kicked. Also teams like c9 and TL staff are immensely better than tsms. Bjerg needs a coach like repeared ,a shot caller like zeyzal but a team like TL. I still think there’s a chance for DL to join tsm again but that will solely rely on bjerg and what team he will get. They need to reunite. It’s literally NA’s last hope to win worlds

apart from [edited after some people took my criticism really negatively] your thoughts....atleast bring some visual appeal to your video... So more of the league community would reach you. Everyone has thoughts...enough for >10 mins long,,...but no one (atleast not many) wants to see that....bring in some stats..some data..some visuals...some strategy. League is all about fighting, winning, strategy...not about "thoughts"- Great teams have not been here with thoughts..but with strategy, fighting, commitment - that's what interests League community - understand who is the audience...instead of just putting thoughts in a "monotonous video".
