Don't think CGI will kill us no matter how good it gets mate. We don't live in a matrix. Just playing. I don't think we have to worry about humanoid robots for fifty years, and even then why? Why when you can make swarming drones that fly like bats into a sector that are hunter seekers, and dive at you in a chaotic (but controlled) way. Then go back or reload. Or one with wheels for feet on legs that can move way faster, carry more, and be way way simpler to make. I think humanoid robots will be used as military show pieces. Help guard the White House. That sort of thing. They are just complicated, and have so many weak joints to hit. Four/six legged with wheels or tracks for feet. Huge arms like a scorpion. With a turrets on the back. Or a centaur robot. I think those will definitely be a thing. 100 years for android assassins.
