I never see shows like Flipper, Gental Ben, Daniel Boon, etc, on any of these lists. We had so much more than just strange and funny kids' shows. I would really live to see a full comprehensive list of the shows from the 70s and 80s. That would be really cool. I'm one of the older Gen Xers. I spent my young childhood in the 70s and my teen years in the 80s. Where do we even start on how incredible the shows of the 70’s were?!!! Loved em all!!! My favorite, “The Secrets of Isis”. My first crush in life was on Joanna Cameron who played Isis. Omg she was sooo hot! I was 10 when I ordered her poster from a book order club (Lucky Book Orders I think it was called). Kept the poster til I moved away to college 😂. Oh Joanna Cameron (RIP) I luv’d ya😊!

Another big cartoon in the late '70s was G-Force. Didnt know it at the time that I was watching anime type characters.

@vhagerty _That_ was the name of that show! What I said above didn't feel quite right, but would be recognizable. Thanks! 😀

Someone should just start a cable channel with Saturday morning cartoons from the 70s, and it would be a massive hit! Of course you must force your children to watch it ha ha! There were so many good lessons to be learned… Fat Albert was the king of that!

So was The Banana Splits. It ran from September 7, 1968, to September 5, 1970, but it was still in re-runs into the 1970s. The same with H.R. Puffinstuf, which aired from September 6, 1969, to December 27, 1969, and was re-run into the 1970s.

Fun fact. The kid with the red shirt that Isis was talking to was SHAZAM. Or Captain Marvel depending on who you ask.

Even as a kid I wondered how they couldn’t find another actor in all of LA to play the later role. And both in red. Seriously. 😆

There is a male voice actor on the text dramas of KZbin that sounds like space ghost. it’s overacting for sure, but he’s got a deep, booming voice. I keep expecting him to say he’s gonna take over the universe or something. Lol.
