Thousands of people are arriving in D.C. to see the famed cherry blossoms, which hit peak bloom this week. FOX 5's Ayesha Khan visited the Tidal Basin to check out the beautiful trees and the crowds that showed up to enjoy them!

Plum blossoms are more colorful than cherry blossoms.However, cherry blossoms have a shorter flowering period and are lighter in shade and paler in color.I guess the Japanese felt beauty in the "fragility" of seeking perfection but not getting it. I love the wisteria tree that sends me into a fantastic world.

Japan gave the US with these Cherry Bloosom trees as a gift and in the other hand USA gave two Atomic bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki , Japan in return...
