I'm sure you already know this, but you are def. blessed to have such a loving relationship with your parents❤️ (Not forgetting your father, lol!) I really wish I had that type of relationship with my mother. I'll just live vicariously through you, to make up for it😅 Anyways, love your videos, Brooke. It makes me miss living on the west coast of FL! Like I said... vicariously living through you!😂 Much love, from CT🙃

It is such a joy to see all aspects of your Shrimp Catches! First off, 40-50 years ago Biscayne Bay was a haven for dip nutters until the Net Draggers came and now most of their nedting grasses have died. Hillsborough Inlet is a fantastic Blast of the Past! Thank you for sharing this.

I just have to say, I recently subscribed, I’ve watched several of your videos and I am so fascinated by seafood. From catching to cooking, and just all of it. I’ve never had any seafood before because as younger child, I was told I had shellfish allergies. And so I’ve always been scared to try. But when I was pregnant I CRAVED lobster. And watching your channel only makes it even stronger to try. I also can’t wait to make your bang bang shrimp tacos for my husband. Love your channel! I’m in Alabama and all the times we come to FL I’ve never seen sea life like you have there!

🌸 Watching you guys effortlessly catch them is amazing, makes me want to do the same, thank you for recipes at the end Many yrs ago when I was a girl, I got to holiday where my mom was born in Trinidad While staying at beach houses, you can literally purchase freshly caught seafood from the local fishermen that live around the coast. The size of Caribbean prawns are much larger & so sweet, you can also get lobster etc I really miss eating freshly caught produce, it just taste so much better and full of nutrients I also miss the delicious crabs and fish caught there. I live in UK, they have lovely fish but I prefer catches from warmer environments lol

Thanks for this lovely video. It brought back the many memories of growing up and fishing with my dad and brother. We fished both coasts (FL, CA,) in both freshwater and saltwater. I didn't realize until the end of the video that I had a huge smile on my face the entire time watching you all. I had to subscribe when I realized just how much fun I had watching this video and I'm hoping your other videos bring out the same memories and response's I had with this video. As a Chef it was good to hear that you save the shrimp shells and make a stock out of them, as it's my secret to amazing shrimp sauces, just don't tell anyone! LOL... Here's to calm seas and tight lines!! ;)

Of course Maine shrimp are different from Florida shrimp but you folks do an amazing job as a family on your excursions of this great sport and God bless you as you continue to do this. Love how you do the recipes clean up after yourself show how you clean the seafood and so on would like to know how you can stay underwater for long period time with just a snorkel that would be interesting to know. Thank you again so much for all of your expertise and great information!!!!

I meant to say Maine lobster are different from Florida lobster. As you know, Maine lobster have claws! Maine lobster are also dark brown or black. And of course after you boil them for 10 minutes at least they shall turns very red and that means they’re cooked and ready to eat. They are delicious again thank you for you again for all of your delicious looking recipes!!!
