Someone made a story where basically their copy of Minecraft was haunted and they were being stalked by a player character with glowing eyes but they were playing offline. Herobrine is the name of the entity. It ended up going viral and became a meme/kind of folk lore within Minecraft haha. Even the devs added some Herobrine related stuff into the game and every patch note used to say "-removed Herobrine" every update. In the mod, it basically makes him real and do things he did in the story. He won't outright kill you, but he can do stuff that screws you over like removing all the torches from an area. You'll leave your home and come back to all the torches on the ground. Or if he's really feeling pesky, and you're hanging out for a long time in your house, he will wait outside and spawn a creeper right around the corner of your building as soon as you leave haha. You'll be feeling safe, probably focused on a goal like, "oh I need to get some coal" and sprint around the corner right into a creeper lmao

This episode reminds me of some of the early apocalypse servers I played on a decade ago. The server owner would spawn in a world without grassblocks (or grass plants) and we would have to try and figure out how to survive long-term. Sometimes they also made sunlight damaging without enough armor. Those were fun servers. Since chest spawns in dungeons (no mineshafts or ruined portals yet) were unaltered, I was eventually able to find a single spruce sapling on one along with some melon seeds. With that we managed to create one hidden valley of greenery in the wasteland. On another server, I found a legal source of grass blocks in these little oases in the desert biomes. Silk Touch didn't exist yet, so I had to make a chain of dirt blocks out of the desert to re-green the wasteland. That eventually got wiped because it's supposed to be a wasteland, but the server owner let me keep a couple of locations that couldn't spread to the rest of the map.

From the fog is really good when you don't even notice when something is there in the moment, just to find out something was observing you the whole time... Perfect example: 11:46 Bottom right corner Also, for the future, i recommend changing some stuff in the config (it can be done by using the /function command) My recommendations: Emissive layers - off (so he doesnt emit light and thus can sneak up on you easier) Burn base - true (because challange) Crash mechanic - true (because yes) And also just have most of the random events on, just to make it spookier and more challenging

I am glad i have found this channel. I literally havent enjoyed watching minecraft videos like this since the days of danTDM. The jokes are hilarious, the editings done amasingly and the commentary is perfect. Was this series a blast. Its rare these days for minecraft youtubers to do something neatly and make it fun to watch, and i didnt get even slightly distracted just straight focus. This series is the literal prime example of how minecraft videos should be done, so keep up the good work man

Did you miss Herobrine trying to trap you at 23:55? If you notice, you were filling the hole up with gravel blocks, and you left a gap where you could see the sky through it. You then turned and ate some bread, turned backed and finished patching the hole, but the gap was no longer there and could no longer see the sky through it, the gap had been filled!

Youre a really fun person to watch, definitely a deserved sub! The series is very original, great idea on just mixing a bit of modified vanilla (the single biome world) with only 2 mods!
