I don't believe blood sun stops channel abilities because lands are only in play. If it said land cards it would stop abilities from hand

right idea wrong reason, blood sun can only affect cards in play it doesn't effect any other zones so graveyard hand deck etc and channel discards from hand to grave and the ability goes on stack so it never sees play and is never checked by blood sun

I haven't watched the video yet, but since I saw no one explaining the word "Jokulhaups", I thought I should chime in as someone who was born in Iceland. So "Jokulhaups" is a MTG-ism entirely, it doesn't make any sense outside of the context of the game and I have long since wondered what the origin of the misunderstanding is, since even considering every possible language the closest interpretation is the Icelandic word "Jökulhlaup". This must have been the originating word for the initial misunderstanding resulting in my favorite magic card. The original Icelandic word means roughly "Glacier run" and refers to the Ice and snow equivalent of a landslide. This is common enough in northern areas of our country that there is significant public infrastructure dedicated to preventing or otherwise reducing the impact of such events. It is an interesting card relegated entirely to an era of magic where land destruction was no problem, but I cannot bring myself to hate it as my birthname is partially found within the card's name... And I have been found to run the occasional armageddon deck, the clearly more efficient cousin of this card.

First of all I like your list and this video: thank you for sharing! NEED SOME EXPERTISE: Soon I have a HUGE legacy tournament. I am willing to play mono red prison: HOWEVER. Lands is no longer a perfect matchup. It has become a nightmare. As soon as they kill our Blood Moon or our Blood Sun effect heir Dark Depth will become A 20/20 Marit Lage. And removing our Sun and Moon isn't even hard anymore for Lands: with 2 Boseiju's main and 2x Force of Vigors SB. So I led my brain work and came with 2 solutions which I want your opinion on.: 1 Play our own Dark Depth's (AFTER placing our moon or sun on the battlefield . Playing it afterwards so they can't just copy our own Depths) so when they remove our Sun or Moon we have our own Marit Lage to block. So it will probable prevent them from destroying our Moon and Sun 2 Splash white for Prismatic ending. Just some Fetches and 1 or 2 Plains mainboard so we can Exile the Marit Lage or perhaps even better: March of Otherworldly Light because it is an instant. It is not the question IF but when I will face Land's on the tournament. What do you think is the best way out? Thank you for your time!
