Congrats on 1 year, Aaron. I just got my first year clean off of heroin and speed. It was the hardest thing I've ever done asking for help and committing to a better life, but so worth it in the end. Keep it going. Can't wait to see more footage in the future from you.

Such a good way of putting the abundance of time. Good call dude, not that I have used needles but still....

Unlike many people, it was getting dumped by the woman I loved the most in the world that made me stop everything. And honestly, I wouldn’t smoke crack again for anything in the world. I don’t need to run around anymore; I’ve got plenty of time and money now, and it’s cool. I still have some issues with anxiety and panic attacks, but you can't use dope for 10 years and not expect to have something in return when you stop everything.

This is what the TrasherMag needs, more videos like this because the world is full of negative shit so is important to shine the light on people that are really making a change in their own life so that we set an example to the next generation of skaters.

Hyped on Aaron's skating and story. I've struggled with similar vices, and the amount of clarity and self-understanding that comes with sobriety can't be overstated.

This is so good!! Im a over a year sober from alcohol and feel this like no other, your life changes so much and you see things from a whole new perspective. I have kind of the same problems with getting stuck in my thoughts and dwelling on them.

Awesome to hear where you're at Aaron. I have had a very similar experience of drinking for years to counteract anxiety. I am about 6 months clean now. I feel much more clear headed and also more awake and in touch with my world and also getting better at dealing with anxiety instead of trying to run from it by keeping myself in a drunken state.
