I was just about to write that! :) Some mamas are really cool and know what to say. They where there too once, right? When I was a teenager and had haved a hard night out, when I came home in the morning... my mama just looked at me and asked "Do you need a bucket?". That one hit home much harder than any yelling. And I NEEDED that damn bucket.

Released in 1970 by 3 Dog Night was actually a Cover of the original...It was written By Randy Newman for Eric Burdon' and the Animals in 1966...Randy also released the song...Momma told him not to go to the party!...with all the Drinking...I looked at My girlfriend...she passed out on the floor!!

3 dog night was one of my mom's favorite bands. They are so good and their music is just fun. Watching their live videos really shows you how great a band they were.

Hoyt Axton gave them Jeremiah. They also covered "never been to spain". That is the most soulful song they did . It is a song that could be sung in spoken word or a country ballad. They sang it the way he couldn't . He didn't offer the stones,zeppelin, Clapton. He new these guys could sing it soulful not to overdo it .

I went to a 3 Dog Night concert in 76, it was epic and the light show was amazing. The song “Liar” was perfect. This ‘Old School’ Rock head and #H.O.G. Dude loves the old rock.

This song was written my Randy Newman and first recorded by The Animals in 1966 and then by Three Dog Night in Early 1970. I graduated High School in 1967 and my Garage Band played this song along with many other Animals songs..
