I recently attended the first international conference on food addiction, and the first speaker was especially noteworthy. In this week's Vlog, I wanted to share some takeaways from his talk. Watch to hear all about it.

Thank you for continuing to do these weekly vlogs, it’s a huge support to me. I wondered if it was just me who would eat NMF and not enjoy it but still always want it! It’s nice to find a community where you’re understood!

Thank you so much for this excellent summary, this reinforcement of the knowledge from your books. Understanding the science of food addiction really helps me have compassion for myself on this BLE journey. "The liking goes up, and the wanting goes down" - yes, ma'am, it is!

That is true. In the depths of the ditch months before boot camp, the pleasure was empty even though I was “all in” to almost all of my NMF. Thankfully, it wasn’t every day

I haven't had sugar or flour or grain in 2 years. I did acjieve some neutrality, but then, kinda siddenly, the wanting increased even for the non-sexy food. All i think about is food, when and how much can I have. I think one day I'll be relegated to eating nothing but unsalted ground beef and avocado. And I'll still be craving it.
