I can just not tell you how much you've helped me so far! You break it down, make it as easy as possible. This is really the time to find the root causes and easiest ways to overcome struggles, in all areas of human endeavours. Singing doesn't have to be so difficult as some make it seem! The best "proof" for that really is seeing how babies can cry and cry for hours and not get hoarse. It's all just bad conditioning, is all. Thank you from my heart for your help!

Thank you very much for your true teaching of the real essence of proper singing. I practice my singing based on previous voice coaches from around the world and have enrolled in formal voice studio and being coach by prominent voice teachers. It is thru your lessons that I discovered my way of singing is faulty, I follow your technique and there I found the difference and it helps my voice not sore, I feel relax. My mind and body are coordinating with my singing. Thanks from Himamaylan City, Province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. Mabuhay.

Happy birthday Arden! May you enjoy each day you’re given. Thank you for your gift of singing wisdom. No one explains it better. It’s the first time singing makes sense!

You are easily one of the best teachers ive found, you deserve so many more views. Im still adjusting to changing my mentality on breathing as ive been doing the wrong way for over a year. But its slowly getting there and it feels so much easier and enjoyable to sing instead of thinking about doing 8 things at once.

Sucking in air, vs relaxing into the inhale (to me i feel like i am eating the air😂) worked sooo well! Today at least, usually when i learn something new the feeling only works for a few days, and i am back to being confused^^ but will try this forward

The very act of trying to Let the breath in instead of trying to Contract my rib outwards (which I am so routinely guilty of) caused some sort of physiological/emotional release that it literally brought tears to my eyes. I have no idea why but that obviously has to indicate some divergence on a deep level. It also feels so much better.

YESSSSS!!! This is a huge part of it James. If you're holding something emotionally, your body can't help but hold it physically. When you release the physical, it has a somatic effect emotionally. I'm gonna teach on this concept much more deeply in the 5 day free online training event I'm hosting in two weeks - Come!!! There's so much more I can teach you!! Find info for the event here: ardenkaywinvocalstudio.lpages.co/workshop/

yeah Arden, your a looker alright, im a pro singer in the UK, happy birthday by the way.its a simple way of explaining something that i know is a difficult issue with lots of singers, i remember the great Jimmy Ruffin, who i worked with in England, he explained it in a similar way, and he became one of the greats.

WOW! Your vids are amazing! Thank you so much for this information! I've been singing for over 10 years yet still struggle with those high notes like in UNCHAINED MELODY.("are you still.... MINE") I hope to implement what you are teaching here to keep trying to nail that song!

Hello Arden ! I'm French and I just discovered your videos, you are an amazing vocal coach ! I participated to to many courses about singing to be a vocal coach, and support is THE THING so many vocal coachs are lost about it.. So I'm a little bit lost about this and the way you teach this is awesome and easier than in courses lol ! Thanks a lot for iluminating our brains lol. I subscribed ! 🌸🎶

For practical issues you gotta be more specific, the implosion comes from the mouth or from the diaphragm?? An overimplosion from the mouth can cause a reverse pushed air flow and get hurt your cords. How i implode my voice?? At which point of the vocal tract do you implode your voice?? From the mouth?? And if i must implode from the mouth in which direction?? If i implode horizontally the sound goes to the pharynx, if i implode vertically the sound goes back through the cords , which direction it has to be?? And the flex i think its gotta be reactive i mean, the highest you sing the more you flex your support, the lowest you sing the less you need to flex your support muscles. Am i right or am i wrong?? Please 😁😁 could you answer?? I am from mexico. Very good lesson. You use the right words

I agree. I get no info about what imploding is supposed to feel like or on what I should focus to wind up imploded. The implosions with which I am familiar happen when the pressure on the outside of something is enough more than the pressure inside of it to crush the thing. Once I have flexed and let the air come into my lungs, the pressure inside me is the same as the pressure outside me, so you are obviously using some other meaning for implode. What goes on where when you implode? If you sang a few notes when imploding and a few notes when not imploding, would that hit us with a clue stick?
