An excellent rundown of options for new GEN1 Raptor owners. I've owned mine since new in 2014 and I have had stock beadlocks with the beauty ring and then true beadlocks. I do not recommend going full beadlock unless you know you need them. Paired with the General Grabber X3 they're well over 110lbs of unsprung weight. For most people their best bet will be to remain as stock as possible.

I need a Baja Build 😫 (id only take it to the SB drive through)

the large cupholders mean you can get minimum 4 frappucinos, and the long travel suspension means they wont spill. built for the sb drivethrough

I run 37 inch KM3 on mid perch with stock wheels. Zero rubbing issues at full compression or turning. 2014 screwcab

In theory you lose max travel off road with 37s on OEM fox shocks even at mid perch but many run this setup! Depends what you do with your truck really

Awesome, Im building up my gen 1, coming along great. I actually use it as a baja prerunner/chase truck. Ive got quite a few mods but coming from a ranger prerunner the Raptor is still somewhat new to me

They’re such great trucks! We love our raptor

Im running the MR304 with no brake clearance issues. Also on BFG KM3 “37’s” top perch and they only rub mid turn when the suspension compresses a bit. Shocks have been gone thru by KDM.

Highly recommend Geiser coilovers on a GEN1 over Eibachs. Also would not recommend spacers but rather purchase the wheel to provide the desired offset.

the 6.2L is not a 302 cubic inch engine nor is it called the boss. it is 379 cubic inches.

The KO and KO2 are the exact same tire with a different sidewall.

What tire is that on the white truck at 4:05?

Any thoughts on running a 20x9 +20 offset with 325/60r20 BFG K03's, I am at mid perch already.

i prefer the gen 1 raptor for the v8 over the tt v6 for the gen 2+ raptors. not to mention the 6 figure raptor r aint worth it in today's market in my opinion. i do plan on owning a gen 1 raptor 1 day so i can do exhaust mods, a cold air intake, upgraded suspension, 37s and a possible prerunner look

nowhere did we say 6.2 boss 302. The raptor engine is called the BOSS engine. Here's some more info fordauthority.com/fmc/ford-motor-company-engines/ford-6-2l-boss-engine/
