Thrice Is my favourite band of all time and every new song is such an amazing paint by a true artist.

Also my favorite band. I don't trust my self to tell if a thrice is song is really good or I just liked because it's thrice lol

One thing that puts thrice over the top for me, is the lyrics are timeless and Dustin is 100% genuine in singing his heart out aggressively. So absorbing the lyrics while listening to amazing sounds and guageing how much I agree with the point they're trying to make makes thrice's music way more engaging to me.

Very nice to see Thrice get back to the heaviness for sure! Artist in the Ambulance will always be their gold standard in my eyes, but this is still super good - I'll be spinning it for a while :)

Thrice is a staple in music theology

So the album that got me into Thrice is To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere just a solid rock album. Then everything they released after that got a bit more experimental with Palms & Horizons/East but I also enjoyed those albums as well \m/ I need to do a dive into their early 2000's stuff at some point!

Wither - If I Were You 🙏🙏 These lads are hands down the most underrated metalcore band.

I love every flavour of Thrice and have them as my all time favourites since Vheissu but maybe show Nathan Words in the Water which is one of the best ones in my opinion or a heavier one like Hold Fast Hope. Cheers!

Thrice throwing back to the Artist vibes!

I’d say more vheissu or alchemy fire. This doesn’t have the metal riffs that made up artist the screaming and gang vocals is why people are confusing it with artist

Sorry you are missing it Johnny. Are you sure you are a music fan? JK. Everyone has their own tastes, that’s why there is so much music out there. No worries mate! Thrice4Life

Been with Thrice since Beggars, and I've found something to like with every album. I do like their earlier sound better. Artist In The Ambulance, The Illusion of Safety.

I don't know, the heavy vocals were the least interesting part of the song for me 😅 loved the ambience and chorus though!

It pains me to say I think they've stalled out a bit. I've loved them since I saw them at warped tour '03. He's so so right about being on the journey. Vheissu is still unmatched for me. "Of dust and nations"....amirite johnny?

Thrice is my favorite band, and as much as I loved hearing Dustin scream again, it’s missing the chunk in the guitars. The music doesn’t match the intensity of the vocals.

The only Thrice song I ever liked was Image of the Invisible. This was pretty good but I'm in the boat with Nath. There's just something missing, but idk what it is.
@takoshihitsamaru46752 жыл бұрын
I know full well the weight of this statement, but Thrice lost it. They're a shell of their former works, ever since Palms, they just don't perform the the same standard we've come to expect from them. Dustin's lyrics have grown hollow and arbitrary, the musical feats are far less impressive and their sense of emotion and purpose just feels absent. Like, I cannot fathom how the creators of Alchemy Index, Vheissu and Beggars made this and the last 2 albums. For Nath, you definitely haven't heard enough from them if you haven't heard any that made you instantly want more.

@@yogidavidni Agreed that it was the last time I felt like it was really Thrice. In the spirit of fairness, East had _some_ tracks that sort of captured the old Thrice magic.
