I know you reacted once to Killing Joke but I would love to see more reactions on „Killing Joke“ and if they are not the most underrated band on this planet, they are in the top 10 of this chart. They started in 1978, they never had a major deal, they do everything on their own to keep their independence. On the other side they are very influential in the hard and heavy rock scene. The Rolling Stone called them:“ the favorite band of all favorite bands“ Nearly every grunge band and most hard rock bands are influenced by them. Metallica covered them ( The Wait) Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, Jimmy Page of LED Zeppelin and many others are big fans. some suggestions: kzbin.info/www/bejne/apSrpZSrl5p3rbc 2003 with Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) on the drums kzbin.info/www/bejne/ip_TqKiIob2Vns0 1985 kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5yWdXaLm7eGbNk 1994 kzbin.info/www/bejne/fneUaISObpt5fZI 2013 kzbin.info/www/bejne/d2XalZWfl7tmf68 2016 kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5itfZVmi9alY9U 2012 And if you like, listen to the latest album of Jaz Coleman, the lead singer of Killing Joke. He transformed the music of Killing Joke into classic music. Written, composed and conducted by Jaz Coleman, performed by the russian philharmonic orchester St. Petersburg. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f37YZqWBn7aIkLM Original kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYW7aItrfN96qdk Classical version Thanks for reading and enjoy - hopefully 😬🤪😎

Emo Thrice is definitely not my favorite version of Thrice.
@stargazer99734 жыл бұрын
Thrice was never emo.
@dfbovey4 жыл бұрын
@@stargazer9973 Their early stuff is to me. with the nasal emo style delivery of the vocals. I had heard their early stuff and forgotten about them for the most part until Vheissu blew me away.
@wilhelmfink76334 жыл бұрын
Actually the first three albums by Thrice sounds emo in the style of the vocals, but lyrically only in a few songs by the way. After Vheissu their sound turns more mature and Dustin's Christian inspired lyrics more prominent.
@dfbovey4 жыл бұрын
@@wilhelmfink7633 Yup, the later stuff from Vheissu on is what I enjoy. Most of the albums before that I don't listen to because I don't like that kind of vocal delivery.
@wilhelmfink76334 жыл бұрын
Yeah, me too. But I like the great tunes on the 2nd and 3rd albums to play on guitar. And after Vheissu they seems another band. Superior in all aspects. Thrice fans must recognize that their early stuff flirts with emo style vocals and it's one of the few bad things about these albums.
@1uckywanderboy5194 жыл бұрын
I was forced to see Thrice by my 17 year old emo girlfriend in like 2002 like it was of dire importance that I was exposed to "good" music. It was awful. Then I got taken to see MSI by my next girlfriend and it put into perspective how much the Thrice concert sucked.
