Thrift Flip: Dress from Men's Shirts

Time for a new thrift flip project, and this time we're upcycling men's button-up shirts! I've been searching for the perfect shirts to flip for a while. Thanks to some inspiring DIY books and two excellent thrifted shirts, I'm ready! Surprisingly (for me), this sewing project was actually simple and relatively quick to do! :) I love that the finished dress has many elements of the original shirts- the crisp collar and cuffs, a boxy fit, and comfortable cotton fabric. With many more shirt dress variations to try, I will definitely be on the hunt for more button-ups... ;) Join me for the thrifting and sewing adventure and see if you get inspired to try some upcycling of your own!
