I am not ready to get started on this new painting project, but just found your video and am overjoyed to see you work with silver pieces. I did some Goodwill shopping just over a year ago and picked up 2 silver (?) lamps that are old with 1 I am thinking might have been a Tiffany. Once the Country got shut down, I started giving things back to Goodwill but something said just hang on to those...NOW, I know what to do with them including I think I'll probably MAKE a Lampshade for the presumed Tiffany...they both are very heavy and in my eyes, gorgeous...so thanks for this video and I look forward to watching your others too.

Hi Julie, I just wanted to let you know how much your channel has inspired me! I have been in a severe funk with my creative side. I have a booth at an antique mall, and I just moved into it before closing down for Ontario Covid shutdowns. We are reopening soon, and I just dont have the energy or desire to even get my stuff priced. I run two businesses and am exhausted from my landscaping business, but used to LOVE my resale business for allowing me have fun with my creative side. Ive got SO much stuff to sell and SO many DIY projects I wanted to film for youtube. I can't seem to find the rhythm for everything though. Im overwhelmed with my daily to-do list. HOWEVER, since finding your channel.. my flame has been relit. Im starting to feel that tinge of desire for crafting.

Am I the only one who liked the floral design on the glass? I love everything Julie does, but I couldn't have painted over those. I think it would have even been cute to paint those frames one of the bright colors of the flowers just as a whimsical, fun pop of color. 💜 They turned out so, so cute though.

Myself I don't want my items to look rusty. Everything else about your technique is awesome!! I've never seen silver painted before and love how these pieces turned out, but now that I have I'd still only paint silver plate not Sterling as plate wares off with high use where sterling have and holds its value !! I love the footed tray. It's goyrgeous

I have added a fryer planter, a beautiful duck in a sea glass color with white wax, some risers, a ceramic bunny that I did to look like concrete, a cherub in a light blue color with white wax, and I made the houses that you had made last year, to my decor.. And yes it is true since I started buying it I have become overloaded and no longer knew what to do since it doesn't sell like it used to. Watching these videos gives me hope so I will be trying some painting soon. Those oval pictures with surrounded frames came from homco. Some of them the back of the frame will say made in Italy. I have a bunch of those as well along with the smaller ones that you see. I can't wait to try those. I was wondering if you thought about light dry brushing the picture under the glass letting that dry. Putting it back in the glass and then adding your mold to the outside like you did then paint and distress the little bird. I'm just thinking of the best technique where you could still see the flowers kind of like through a frog and then of course just stress the outer metal like you did I might try that at some point because I like the look of the flowers as well
