This thrift store find dresser, I will show you a chalk paint furniture with layers for an aged effect! This is a great way to do a furniture makeover using chalk paint and it is a great DIY weekend project to restore furniture that still looks great, but just needs some chalk paint love! This tutorial will show you how to do chalk paint so you can upcyle old furniture you may have!

Just wanted to make a correction on the interior spray for both wood sealer and chalk paint sealer! The wood sealer is for interior use of the piece meaning the wood piece is not outside! I demonstrated for the video I used a spray and forget my studio can be used for some of these products but not all viewers have the same set ups with ventilation. Its always best to be in a well ventilated area! The chalk paint sealer is okay to use indoors but again be safe and cautious. My studio is ventilated but I for addition coats I will finish additional steps sealing in the garage for even more ventilation. Please be cautious and safe with any spray materials 🎨 🤗💙

So it’s a super difficult question but it ranges from $ 200 up to $800 again depends on the piece and how much time and supply is involved. All goods we buy also have a transport fee or a shipping fee. So you need to calculate that with the size etc. Condition of a piece is also a factor, is the piece already in mint, or is fair condition? Even though we fill the holes and mask the imperfections and has a decorative finish buyers still take that into account for the value. In the long run never underestimate your time and value. Hope that helps 😉🎨💙

This is A MAZE ING! Recently watched someone else try to achieve this with crackle paint....(total FAIL). This is perfect. Great job! On a different note...It's "speckling" not spackling. And the spray varnish "Interior" means it's for items that will be kept inside vs. items that will be outdoors. NO spray paint is to be sprayed indoors.

I thought I said speckling but I am really not great with all the appropriate terms for techniques. I think that’s why I like “fly specs” and absolutely spray should be outside. The chalk paint sealer does say on the can safe for indoor use but I agree with you! Both are water base and yes all sprays are with safety and ventilation. Hi Lovely! The sides are exactly like the front on the piece. Due to time constraints on KZbin as some viewers don't watch the entire video this effects my channel being suggested to new viewers, I have to cut the footage for the sides so that it is appealing to the crowd. Diane Alves ... the palm brushes I am using are pixie belle brushes but zebra brushes are a fantastic quality! I have some zebra other brush types and definitely excellent value! I believe they also carry a palm brush very similar to what I am using 😉💙
