Thanks for sharing! If you go to Abruzzo, there is an open air flea market called "L'antico riggatiere". It is THE most amazing place. You need to go in daylight as there is no electricity, and it is huge. Make sure you call first and ask if owner is there (Tamerlano). I bought lots of pieces this summer from him and cant wait to go back but you need to be open minded! Spider webs everywhere!

Hello!!! This video popped up in KZbin and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for sharing. I watch second hand shopping influencers and thrifters and do some second hand shopping myself in Sicily, in the day markets though; a lot of fun, for me it’s like a treasure hunt! I am from the US born and raised in a Spanish family who married a Sicilian 27 years ago. I visit my family in US twice a year and they visit me here whenever they get a chance. I hope to meet up with you all sometime so if you’re in Sicilia please reach out, and if I am in the Molise area I’d certainly reach out. Thank you and take care!

You should a picture of a painting. I don’t know if it was a painting or a print of Big Eyes I would love to know if it’s real there was a movie about the person that painted them and everything they were popular in the 60s and 70s.

At 16:08 the framed dragoons looked enticing and affordable, I wish you showed or tell more prices. Nice video, the only downside is too much driving shots.

One picture was for 6,79€. 😊

I get nervous trying to see everything, film it correctly, show the prices since I am a one man production team. LOL. Some places don't mind video but some do. I need to learn how to ask in Italian. I'll try to show more prices in the future. I'm not a fan of driving shots but a lot of people like to see also the area so that's what fast forward buttons are for.

@@ouritalianadventures6190 When I need to learn a new language I find it much simpler if I write down the words and sentences I might want to use and memorize, it makes it easier to learn. Reading and writing helps a lot, especially if the language use the same alphabet.

It would sure help if you could share the prices of things. I’ve never been to Italy and would love to know how their prices compared to ours in the states.
@ouritalianadventures61902 ай бұрын
Hi, I am thinking of doing a video on prices. Do you prices for items in the thrift stores or everyday needed items? I try to show some prices when I do the thrift store videos but will try to do more. I get so nervous trying to talk, film and see everything being a one man production team. LOL.
@lauriesquires59242 ай бұрын
Slower panning and better description + either showing or telling us the price would improve dramatically

I think he did a good job both saying and showing the prices.

It's not easy doing every thing yourself on a Iphone. I get nervous trying to see everything, film it correctly, show the prices since I am a one man production team. LOL. It tough to hold the phone and see the price and describe it. I'm trying my best.

I don’t know how it was there but here in torino,these mercantino dell usato are ridiculously overpriced
@ouritalianadventures61902 ай бұрын
It truly depends on the item. Sometimes I think that's a lot for that piece and then I find something that I can't believe how cheap it is. Luck of the draw I guess. It's still fun to look though.

@@ouritalianadventures6190 - Hey- it just occurred to me… my mom (no Italian heritage on her side), a couple decades ago, used to make doilies into Christmas ball ornaments. I think she would dip them in glue or a paste of some kind, then lay them over small, blown-up balloons (??), let them dry, then pop & remove the balloons. But it seems to me like they would stick to the balloons. 🤔 I don’t know enough about the process, but maybe you can find something about them on the internet. 🤷♀️ I liked how they looked. I think she tended to use them in table-top decorations, rather than have them hang from the tree. Anyway, there are probably lots of suggestions out there for what to do with them. Good luck!

I know! My friend Ed in America bought two real ones off ebay. I don't know how to tell if they are real or not. I'll try to ask him and see if I would be able to tell the difference between real and reproduction.
