Couldn't agree more! Thank you. Really good contractors are in high demand just like in America. That's why I would stay away from something that needs a lot of work. Luckily Martin can do a lot of the work himself.

Would they open this palazzo up to a hotel when all is completed? I can’t image the patience they have to have sourced all the products used and to do all the immense work involved. So beautiful and excellently done. And further to a previously posted question, is there a car rental company in Vinchiaturo or a dedicated person in town who runs a car service to and from Rome airport for visitors (or even the locals for that matter)?

Yes, their goal is to open by Spring next year. I am also looking for a place for you to rent. Another friend has a AMAZING charming apartment in an old convent that they might be renting out soon. I will keep you posted. Yes, the local car service guy is fantastic. He goes to Rome airport and all over. We have used him for our guests and the service is stellar.
