I would get some wood drawer pulls for the tops, and the wood balls for the noise maker. Use thicker twine to hold them. They will be beautiful. I’ve made some before and love them. (Don’t just use hot glue, it doesn’t hold! Be sure to use something stronger like a clear exoxy) I learn the hard way!

Always love watching you on here Julie. I always like Christmas bells too. I saw woods grained tape someplace. You may be able to fill in the top groves of the shades w/just joint compound and it dries hard then paint it like wood. Just a though. Love that idea of making them into bells. Loved & Blessings Julie

Julie, I have similar lamps like the chunky ones you shared. They are not what I care for in my home however, I use them on the patio and screened porch. Perfect for my outdoor decor. I have even spray painted the shades. So many things you can do to your duck. I'm sure it will be beautiful on the mantle or as a centerpiece. Pam

Julie …. I want that French toil ….. you never see it in a thrift store and if you do, they won’t way too much money for it ! Also when you were looking at those wooden ducks some of them are handmade by different artist . If you run across them, some of them can run into a few hundred dollars. Just remember that before you decide to paint them. 😂 great video. I always love your hauls . I can’t wait to see the be made from the shades . When I first saw you stacking them, I thought of angels that could be made of them .

I found that 2 of that exact lamp 2 years ago for $5 each in a small mom and pop thrift store. Of course I grabbed them, brought them home and painted them with a cream colored paint. I did a light coat of brown wax and they are perfect. When I researched them, I found that they are from the 80's.

If your pillow shams are too big for your pillows. Just sew a seam around the size of your pillow, and then you will have an wide edge around it. I needed the rose cross stich kit. I also liked the crocheted throw. It reminded me of stained glass.

I am working on putting up my Christmas early because I am going to South America to visit my niece, her husband and two kids in December. They are missionaries there. I am also working with a wooden pallet to make a deer from. I found my tree limbs for antlers in the woods today. Painted the eyes and attached a big red Christmas ball for his nose. I love to craft. I cannot wait to see what you craft with the things you thrifted today. I am very anxious to see everything decorated for Christmas. I love all your videos.

I don’t go to the thrift stores that often I have to get that like that urge so the other day I got it and I went into a Goodwill right here in the Heights Easton, Texas, and I found a really thick cutting board now the cutting board was the one with the handle. It had some kind of artwork on one side, but I said I can always turn it over. It was real thick turn it over and use the other side and had the hole in it so I put a lot of strap in there and I have it on the side of my counter, I paid $2.99. … I have been using it since I got it cleaned it real good put a little bit of coconut oil on it

Hi Julie! Same seebells.. all the different shapes & sizes. I know there's A technique you can use on metal cake pans that makes it look old, I can't remember exactly what was used but I've watched it being done. I'm sure you can google it. Antiquing wax may work too, personally i would try that first maybe.🤷♀️ i loved the black & white Victorian print pillow covers! So pretty!🤍 The white quilted pillow covers are really pretty too🤍 Of course i loved the quilt, i love old handmade quilts. Some newer ones are really pretty too. I can't wait to see the globes made into bells..i know they're going to be beautiful! Enjoyed shopping asking, thanks for sharing! Pray you have a blessed weekend!🙏🏻
