Beautiful table, Julie! My house is prim and these are my favorite kinds of finds. I'm fortunate to be in So. Indiana where prims are easier to obtain. You can't believe the pieces that I've found sitting out for the trash (old handmade chairs, a jelly cabinet and a gorgeous handmade slanted writing desk). God has blessed me with these finds and I couldn't love them more....just like you and your table ❤

I am so happy you got that table. It was meant to be. The chairs look great with it. I found 9 Victorian cabinet cards for $1 each the other day. I thought like you did about the people in the pictures. I thought these were someone's family members, and for whatever reason, they are now stuffed in a basket in a dusty thrift store. I could not leave them there. They are now proudly displayed in my home where I will cherish and love them.

Love your new table! Clean with a mild dishsoap. Seal with Howard's beeswax for a nice protective layer. Might want to try some Howards Restore. That will give you a nice antique finish. Could also try Old English.
