Another great thing to work with is grout. I see bags of grout quite often in thrift stores. Both sanded and non sanded work great for a cool effect.

Loved this method, I've 2 identical vases in a terracotta that I've had for over 20yrs now that have the same sheen that your start case had, and they don't fit in with my cottage any more, so think I'm on a new project tomorrow, thank goodness its shopping day also tomorrow do baking powder is going on the list. It may be interesting to combine the baking soda paint technique with the ceramic pattern you made on the upcycled essence bottle/planter with the little window on your latest video. Not sure of the final result because of the "rough" texture brought by the baking soda but may worth the try...

You really only need about two coats to get it covered, but you can always do more 🙏 And please do it and report back to me, I love the texture it gives my ceramic pieces! 😇🧡

I NEEDED THIS!! I had a frame kept layering and layering and layering coats of paints and it wouldn't stick...next time I will use baking soda..powder? whichever one your said :)

Just in case no one has told you yet. Get a gallon of gesso at home Depot or Lowes you put one coat over a canvas or wall so you only need one layer of white( maybe 2).
