I think it's funny how people in the US (and Canada of course) think a thrifted dress for like 12 bucks is expensive because in our thrift stores and basically everywhere around Europe this is completely normal and it's nearly impossible to find a dress under 10€ (around $12?) and they go up to like around $35-40 or even more. You should really appreciate that you're able to go thrifting and find good stuff that is reaaally inexpensive.

Yes. In the U.K. our charity (thrift/ second hand) stores have really gone up in price in recent years. A lot of things are overpriced now. You can sometimes find good deals but you really have to look and go to the smaller stores. At one point I could buy a full outfit, including shoes for less than £10 (€12) but now I’m lucky to get one item for that price.

Depends on where in Europe. In Eastern Europe you can find some stuff for really cheap. There are some pretty expensive things, too but you can definitely find affordable pieces. My last find was a skirt I thrifted for 3 lv., which is 1,50€. And my dad once got a shirt for 0,80 lv., aka. 0,40€.

If your hair has a hard time drying, you could just either have really thick hair or it might have damage that makes your hair try to soak up moisture and retain it. I would try a hair treatment and see if that helps your hair drying issue(: Much love to you and your amazing style

The Old Navy dress was pricey but so worth it, it's a really well designed style and it's SO JENNA!! I look for ON in thrift stores, bc they're well made basics, but I never go to the ON store bc the prices are ridiculous new. They're like just below Gap on the heirarchy for me :) (Another store I don't go in bc they prices are ridiculous new, but great when I find them in thrift stores!)

For me I would modify your method. I would choose all the stuff without looking at prices. Then edit my haul. Then I would check prices to be sure I am OK with spending money on each item. I really kinda do this now just fill the cart with stuff I love. I refuse to buy anything unless I can try it on. I am pretty tall, have a nipped on waist, long inseam so have not bought thrifted pants since pre shutdown. I can fill a whole cart with pants and end up with one or two that I love the fit of. This was a fun video to watch.

When it comes to thrifting I will pay if I love it. Never shop by designer labels because I have seen by you tube hauls that some designers just suck. If you need a down home look then old Walmart brands that have been washed to a fabulous patina can be had for almost nothing. Buy what you know you’ll wear because some places are “as is” /no returns. I have more “cocktail dresses” than I will ever wear.
