Funneling all players on a server to a single event, siege, anything is mistake that wise people already learned from..the majority of pvp gamers do not want to be forced into zerg play. They require options. Timegates and linear pvp modes will keep this gem on the sidelines.

Game is free to play so of course you have to pay at least for the battlepass and in my opinion thats ok. You can make auction house currency pretty easy as well if you know how to flip items.

@@nervosadustbolt9642 Im not a fan of free to play games, In my opinion everyone should pay at least 30-40$ for the game or 10$ monthly subscription. Soon you will have thousands of players playing for free and as a studio THEY have to pay for the servers, anti cheat support, PR, bug fixes and developer team which will keep the game live with new content and updates so I kinda understand them why they will push to make money like that. They are game developers with payrolls and bills not charity

Good and fair assessment of the game overall. Skills are only half pay to win as the other ingredient needed to craft the books is entirely PVE gained. The trait pay-to-win is true as the money simply and greatly accelerates progression. Very careful planning before global launch could net players a fortune in lucent without ever needing to swipe however. Twice mentioning zergs gating content for others while being in a zerg gating content while 1 on 1 GvG getting completely destroyed is ... interesting ...

Been a tank in this game is horrible... All in this game, rewards are base in damage. Even how much gold you get in a party after killing an enemy... As tank you get very low amounts of rewards

I wish there is more small scale pvp like it was in L2. Sure, there was a lot of zvz around RBs but there was plenty of small scale as well. Now 95% videos on yt shows almost exclusivly mass pvp. Too bad

I also am looking for something like lineage 2 gameplay. I'm thinking between this and new world. But if pvp is only in some arena or boss fight then in my opinion it sucks. Pvp must be also in open world when farming

Great character creator, but sadly it there aren't any voice options for our character. EVERYONE sounds the same. Very off putting.

Pay to win got out of control once the tier 2 patch came in korea. There are some items that gives a lot of advantage (solisium blessing and battle pass) which can only be bought by real money. The latest updates made the game feel more like a mobile game than a pc game.

Doesn't seem bad but it depends a lot how Amazon will change the economy of the game. Right now it's just not worth, which is a shame cause the game overall is good. Currently the game is p2w or at best highly p2fast which becomes the same cause there's a "snowball effect" with the general mecanism of the game. First guilds to be at the top will have tons of advantages, more loot and ressources... which means it clearly a tryharder game (which is fine to an extent) but coupled with botting & credit card. It really feels like Lost Ark, if it comes out like that it'll have ton of players till people realise how the game is with cash shop and grind (+bots which is a current problem in KR) so player base will drop after 2 weeks or so). In addition, top alliance / guilds will just do what ever they want without smaller groups being able even to compete a bit with them. Too bad they didnt choose to do "fix factions" instead of letting people do their giant alliance.

Different audiences. New world is built for pve players. They abandoned open world pvp before and launch and scot lane is too stubborn to restructure wars. Niche game for a terribly niche audience. Mega servers and the removal of wars will save the game. Anything less and the runway only has a few years left after console launch.

Long response, we expect them to keep most, if not all, of the monetization systems as they are. We hope for small modifications to make them more fair, but not much. How bad is the P2W? Opinions may vary, but it's not as bad as many claim it to be. • The subscription / battlepass let you progress faster, but well within the current expected margins of a F2P MMO with optional sub • You can buy shit from the market with $, but for that someone has to sell it first, so whales will be gated by people actually obtaining and be willing to sell stuff. • In the current KR game state, most BiS gear is obtained via dungeons, and it isn't tradable. And what is tradable, is so rare barely anyone will sell it, and for a lot of money. • Some gear/skill enhancement materials are gated behind gameplay, even if you pay for everything else • Traits are the main P2W pain point. They have a considerable effect in power, and are the main thing people will sell on the marketplace. However, they've been implementing changes to make it easier for F2P/Sub players to get them, and we expect these to be in global from the beginning • At this point in KR, lots of F2P players are fully geared up, traits included, 3 months after they released a new tier of gear, and the trait improvements released last month

The good side is unlike a lot of p2w game, you can get the same thing trought playing, as a full time worker and a dad, i like when there is way to skip the farming , when you have 4 hours a week to play, its nice to play the part i enjoy, its reallly a deal breaker when i feel ill never catch up to the lvl of someone that has 8h a day tp play.....and let be real, real money spender is what keep about any game alive these day

So ofc they cry about p2w but without some boost ppl that work and can play 2h a day wouldn't have a chance against someone that is all day long in game. And there are also the developers / servers and company that has to eat.
