⭐️ Guys, if you don’t have self raising flour, don’t worry here is a substitute: 1⅔ cup self raising flour remove 1tsp, replace it with 1 tsp of baking powder ⭐️ Full Recipe is in the description box ❤️

The video clip has different measurements to the description box measurements for flour and banana. Which one is the correct quantity?

I make a fantastic banana bread with all purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg. My recipe is different than yours, and it rises higher which I prefer. If I were to add chocolate chips, I use the mini chips so not to take away from the banana flavor. All banana bread recipes are good in their own way.

@@janicefreedman8173 I make a good banana bread too . But I make two loaves at one time. One year at Christmas I made 33 loaves (have not done that again ) now I only do 8 loaves for family ,friends & neighbor. I use plain flour baking soda and I put more bananas than call for also put chopped fine walnuts. Cook 4 loaves at once they sit till all is ready to go in oven. Oh so Good with coffee at breakfast 🙂

My husband has been baking these for a few years now. Try and add 1 cup walnuts in there or so. And he uses 3 eggs. Oh, they come out mouth wateringly good and moist.

Shay's temp appears as Celsius. It equals 338° F. I baked it at 350° F like most other banana bread recipes and started to check it at 50 min. Took 55 min in my oven. Delish. Handy ingredients, ie. no yogurt, sour cream.

Bake with Shay Sometimes, over ripe bananas are too sweet already, then adding lots of sugar & chocolate chips will add more sweetness in your banana bread, too.. So must add less sugar, add a pinch or 1/2 teaspoon salt, to balance the sweetness, put some nuts too, instead of too much chocochips. Thank you.. Just my opinion, I do bake too.

Light brown sugar is that dense packed slightly sticky stuff you put in more squidgy cakes. There's also dark brown sugar that has a more treacley smell. Brown sugar is often a chunkier granulated sugar, that's basically a non bleached sugar.

Why would I ever use that much sugar and why indeed would I ever add chocolate chips ? Sheesh! Goodness doesn't have to be junky. Add an extra banana and an extra egg. Use 1/2 the sugar and toss in chia seeds and lots of walnuts. In other words get a bit more healthy. (One desert at a time.)
