Probably the greatest postseason run of all time. Held a record-setting offense led by MVP Manning to 3 points, put up 41 points over the #1 defense on the road in Pittsburgh, then beat the NFC’s top seed Eagles that had finally broken through, all to cement back-to-back Super Bowl titles (and 3 in 4 years).

For me, this was the game that defined the New England Patriots era led by Bill Belichick and Tom Brady. Talk about putting the right game plan together to hang 41 points on the NFL's best team in '04. Troy Polamalu doesn't miss helping his corners out on deep post routes often.

"Wonder how many cameras NE used to film PGH’S defensive calls?" Well, that particular day the Patriots required no cameras. Ty Warren, Jarvis Green, Vince Wilfork, Keith Traylor, Willie McGuinest, Ted Johnson, Mike Vrabel and Teddy Bruschi turned Bettis and Roethlisberger into ketchup and mustard. It wasn't ALL a giant failure for Pittsburgh - I mean, the rapi$t DID manage to go the entire game without $hitting his pants. That begs the question: Did YOU manage to watch the game without $hitting your pants?
@davesprague15423 күн бұрын
@@jab1289 " Brady also had an alternate radio frequency in his helmet, more than likely." I confess - my favorite radio transmission Brady sent to the fans of Pittsburgh occurred at roughly midway through the 4th quarter: "Remember, kids, it's dark, it's January and there's lots of black ice in the parking lot - when you demonstrably stupid pu$$ies walk to your cars, be careful."
