Allo Ms Sarah, other nicknames for your helicopter seed include Wing-Nut & Whirlygig. The term was based on the way the seeds spiral through the air as they fall from the tree. The seed comes from Maple trees in the US (Sycamore trees in the UK, which produced helicopters that shared the name). It's delightfully moving to watch this labor of love with your Granny's truck , you literally glow with every mention of her & every improvement you make. Not clear if her truck is yours now , I certainly hope so because I couldn't bear to watch you part with it.

I would give anything to get to talk to them just one more time. So much to say. Everyone call your parents, your grandparents. Hug 'em if you got 'em. Nice job, turned out amazing so far. Cleeeean. For the bolts, you could get them derusted and new zinc coated at a shop doing galvanizing. That would be the perfect solution so they don't start rusting again any time soon. And usually you can retrofit old radios by adding a stereo-jack to it. There are tutorials about it on the interwebs. And then add a bluetooth-to-stereo-jack device.
