I grew up on the US/Mexican border and one of my first jobs in my late teens was working outside in some pretty severe heat. I kept showing up without lunch, I was too broke, an old Mexican man I was working with took pity on me one day and gave me a mango. I had drank a lot of mango juice before then, but had never held a whole mango before. My coworker didn’t speak any English, but kept motioning for me to eat the mango. I didn’t know what I was doing so I took a bite out of it like an apple, chewing peel and all. Honestly I was so hungry and overheated I didn’t care how bitter the peel was, just that the mango was cool, tasty, and hydrating. The coworker and his friends laughed as I dug into that mango like a caveman, probably similarly to your hot springs experience. I’ll never forget that man’s kindness, and have had a fondness for mango ever since.

I can't imagine the pressure maintaining a YT channel adds to surviving everyday business ownership challenges Thub (not even add in everyday life challenges) But I'm pretty sure the majority of your 100k viewers watch you because you present the type of work you do in a uniquely intelligent and humorous way. And anyone who 'gets it' is not going to be impatiently tapping a foot like a spoiled child demanding to watch a video at an exact day and time. So if a video is taking its time coming together I wouldn't mind a throwback. Hey many of us grew up on 3 tv channels and no clicker, loving summer reruns cause it was what it was! Give yourself a break - catch you breath cause we love and support you Thub.

Honestly, if you waited a couple weeks until the truck was running to do the 100k sub special , I think it might be better that way. There is just something uniquely satisfying about seeing you throw everything metal out of bins with no concerns about the space it takes up. But whatever you decide I'm sure the 100k special and all other upcoming videos will be awesome.

I'm glad you realise you need rest and to gather yourself together. Towards the end of the video I picked up that you sounded like me when I didn't understand what was happening to me. I'd gone through years of crap at work, nearly lost our son at birth, had a sudden and devastating death in the family and I ended up having a breakdown. It took me just over ten years to get myself back on track. I still have wobbles now and then. Please look after yourself, maybe even talk to a professional or close friend and let it all spill out, that really helps ❤🙂

I think the key to those big sea cans is gonna be just like storage units. When you first start going through you need to set out 3 huge tarps and get a bunch of buckets or bins so you can have a garbage pile, metals recycling pile, and a research for possible sale pile - sort as you go! Otherwise your gonna spend hours just cleaning up and chasing all and re sorting all the loose screws bolts and stuff COCO OUT. Seriously though I would love to see a thub storage unit video!!!

This was an awesome video to watch. I’ve learned over the last few weeks of starting to learn how to scrap that this is a major application of patience and taking time. And this shows it. Absolutely loved it. In terms of what you talked about at the end of the video, there are more of us who understand than I think you realize. All you need to do is take time to get your head right and continue to be you.

Where are you? I live near Calgary and checked a while ago: Bond (white office stuff) that is CLEAN (no mixed) will fetch a few hundred, but the other grades like newsprint and cardboard are so low it shocked me - something like $25/ton. All must be dry too, which can be an issue for saving/storing/sorting etc., few people have the extra space for this. I was told he prices swing quite a bit year by year.
