Who cares if they've adopted Dissection's style, they do a pretty damn good job playing it. It's not like they've been dishonest about their style, they make no claims to originality and blatantly admit that their music is a tribute to Dissection and other Swedish acts such as Sacramentum and Unanimated.

That was my exact first reaction. Dissection. Well, some have to carry the torch, don't they? Dissection's last album before Jon's death was pretty awful, anyway.

Oh, this is WAY better than the first album. I am a HUGE Dissection fanboy, literally, but I couldn't stand that album, it was too much similar to Storm of the Light's Bane, like a exact copy with different melodies. For example, I could tell exactly what would come next in Spirit of the Night because it was a exact copy of Thorns of Crimson Death structure. But this, this is a WAY better album, and I really like, holy shit.

Trying so hard to like these guys, they are absolutely good musicians and all, but my fucking mind just keeps whispering 'Dissection copycats.' So what? I know, Dissection was fucking awesome, it's great others try to sound like them, continue their legacy, whatever you want to call it, but something's lacking here...I feel like I'm just hearing Dissection covers.
