How to play bar chords?
In my teaching experience for beginners one of the main problems that the students face for the left hand is bar chord! Most of them try to play right from the very beginning six strings bar chord which is almost impossible: it is like trying to lift 30 kg of weight on your first day at the gym.
The solution is to take it step by step... In this video I am giving you some tips how to do it.

This is not a comment. It's what came into my mind, it does now and again. In one of your videos you and your twin are Playing together, magnificently. One unknown composer wrote, I do hope I have got this right. Amazing Grace. It's one of the many that really make me openly cry. It's not through being sad inside the Sound makes me Happy and the feeling inside is, no words can expres. Chị ơi, tập theo hướng dẫn của chị em thấy mình tiến bộ hơn rất nhiều ạ (em đã tự học guitar được gần 3 năm). Em có một vấn đề là, dù đã tập khá lâu, nhưng có một số bài em thấy dùng bar chord ở ngăn 1 và 2 hoặc một số ngăn gần ngăn 12 vẫn rất nhanh mỏi tay, nhiều khi em phải hạ tuning xuống nửa hoặc 1 cung thì mới thấy chơi thoải mái hơn. Tuy nhiên chơi lâu với tuning thấp thì về lâu dài em sợ tay mình sẽ bị quen và không khỏe lên được. Chị có thể cho em lời khuyên không ạ? Em cảm ơn chị nhiều!

Before attacking bar chords, however, make sure the action on your guitar is adequately adjusted. If your strings are too high, bar chords will be nearly impossible. And you may run into problems if you have large knuckles: they may leave a gap that can hardly be compensated by the muscle. Fret wire comes in different sizes: beefier frets can alleviate the problem. This is why custom-made guitars may be a good investment.

I tried many fretboards e-guitar, classical, but when i take full barre, the third string never sounds clean, i think its because of the shape of my index finger and i am not a beginner. What can i do?

I don t think there is anything wrong with your index finger as many students I have taught in the past had a similar problem. I used to have the same difficulty for a time playing barred 7th chords when using my little finger on the second string. Try using your index finger by barring in different positions and angles on the fretboard. This would be easier to demonstrate than explain in words but I think you ll get the gist. At the end of the day it really is down to practice and it can take some time. It took me ages to develop a half decent tremelo and that s the best I can say for it. It s only half decent.
