Nice video. I was told that thunderheader comes with 18mm O2 sensors but with 12mm reducers which can be taken out so that wideband O2's can be installed? Is this correct? Thanks.

I loved the sound on my Road king. My only complaint is that the right side just got too damn hot when riding hard in the SoCA summer heat

I just put one on my ultra for the very reason that the pipe on the left side was getting so hot it would blister my leg. This got rid of that pipe and I love it

Nice video thanks bud! Quick question, I can get one at a really really good price with Heath shield and everything but it’s for 86-03 sportster. Would you think that if I put O2 sensor bung plug on them it would work on my 2008?

I'm thinking of a 2 in 1 for my softail, ThunderHeaders, D & D and Bassani's are nice but, don't like the idea of having to pay extra for heatshields...

Yeah I agree i want the thunderheader but paying extra for the heat shields sucks 😠

@@chunkyfxdls1878 I ended up with the Thunder Headers after all, but your right it Sucks they sell the Heat-shields separately, the only alternative I could think of is to wrap them?

@@leanidis300 yeah that is definitely an option. I think I’m gonna do with the thunderheader also. I like the d&d but Iv seen quite a few videos on here and it seems to sound very different on every bike. Whereas the thunderheader has that definitive sound always that you can’t mistake....

Hi Mike, yes we do recommend a tune for optimal performance.

I love the sound and pipes but i havnt had them more than 16 months with 3000 miles and rust spots are showing. I live in FL and read this is common for these pipes?

Yes. They only come with a light coating from the Factory unfortunately. You have to send it out to a place like this www.performancecoatings.com/exhaust-coating to get them, looking and staying nice.

Yea it’s the only issues they have with these pipes. And they brake at the cone where you’ll have to re weld them
