If I make it on a Wednesday , how do I keep it green until the following Wednesday? Or if I decide on a mature lei look, will it be partially green in that timespan? Thanks 🤙🏽

Thanks for the tutorial. Do you also soften the leaves that are cut into parallelograms or just the strips used for braiding.
@toyhawaii34173 жыл бұрын
You don't necessarily have to, but it doesn't hurt! I like to just soften everything and then decide how much I am going to split into strips or for braiding.

Thanks for responding. How would you go about adding flowers into this? Possibly another tutorial? 😬
@toyhawaii34173 жыл бұрын
@@elainetamura545 a haku lei is different technique than this one. But I would be happy to create a tutorial on it!

I would love to see that tutorial as well🙌

How many ti leaves do you use?
@toyhawaii34173 жыл бұрын
I use about 20 big ti leaves which comes out to about 40 strips. That's if you want it really full, you can use less if you like it smaller.
