Yep! I’m now on KZbin with short personal essays about Disney and my experiences at WDI during 3+ decades. Hope you enjoy the content.

Are you still with Jim and Len? Somehow I have the impression as if you are now completely on your own… hope I‘m wrong! Thank you for your great work!

I grew up going on American Sings and got to see the relocation of the Animatronics to Splash Mountain. I recall that Splash was delayed from awhile due to the redesigns of the log and there were some cost overruns. Only having gone to Magic Kingdom once, it's version definitely has a different presence on the Westside of the park and the side by side seating stood out to me. - Was the side by side seating introduced as an alternative way to manage the splash? - Will you be doing a video on the increasing use of screens that are being increasingly being used on attractions? Love these videos. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments. I have more to share so tell your friends about my channel. Responding to your comments: the opening of Splash was delayed due to ride issues soaking test riders. The MK version is different from the Anaheim version including the side by side seating which was part of the MK WDW design to increase ride capacity. Guests get wet not matter what seat they sit in. Good idea about a episode addressing video screens in rides.

thank you for your perspective, Jim. What is your take on the Pride Rock Version just announced at D23 for Paris? Are you happy with the idea of reusing the ride model? Or do you think they could have done something different?

You’re welcome. The idea of a flume ride is interesting. I question if guests will ride a water ride during the cold and wet months common to the region. Thanks for watching.

I liked this. Enjoyable to watch. Splash will be missed. I do miss maelstrom a lot as well. But I guess change is inevitable.
